Richard Casino Slots: Not Open to Canadian Players

Its own terms now bar Canada from real-money play, even though a Canadian version of the site is still online.

Status: not open to Canadian players

Richard Casino no longer accepts players from Canada. We keep this page so the facts and their sources stay findable. It is not scored, ranked or recommended anywhere on this site.

All casinos we cover · Where you can play

Richard Casino is not open to Canadian players for real money. The terms and conditions on the Canadian (en-CA) version of its site, version 1.0 in force since 15 April 2026, list Canada among the restricted countries where real-money play is prohibited (clause 2.4). We read them on 23 October 2026.

That makes this a status page, not a review: we do not score, rank or suggest Richard Casino. Below is what the casino was, what changed, what it means if you already have an account, and where to look instead.

What Richard Casino was

Richard Casino is an online casino operated, according to its current terms, by Metlait SRL, a company registered in Costa Rica under number 3-102-911867.

Two pieces of evidence show it used to face Canada. The site still has a Canadian English section, at an address ending in en-CA, and an archived copy of it from 12 September 2026 exists. And the casino's older terms from 2025 did not exclude the whole of Canada. The change is recent, and the Canadian pages were left in place after it.

When we tried other pages in the Canadian section, they redirected to a mirror address, richardsnet.co, which did not load. Only the terms page opened. That means we could not read a current lobby, studio list or promotions page, so we cannot describe what the slot library looks like today, and we would not suggest trying to reach it through a mirror.

The terms change, and what it means for your account

The key text is clause 2.4 of the terms, version 1.0, effective 15 April 2026. It lists Canada among the Restricted Countries from which real-money play is prohibited. It does not carve out any province, so the restriction covers Ontario, Alberta, Quebec and every other province alike.

If you opened an account before that date, the terms we read do not describe what happens to an existing Canadian balance, and we found no closure notice or withdrawal deadline for Canadian players. We will not guess at one. What we can suggest from the facts:

  • Do not deposit. Real-money play from Canada breaches the current terms.
  • Contact the casino's support in writing, ask how to withdraw any balance, and keep a copy of the reply.
  • Have your identity documents ready in case the casino asks for them before paying out.
  • Do not use a VPN to get around the restriction; playing from Canada breaches the terms wherever your connection appears to be.

If you are unsure whether you still hold a balance, the support reply is your record. Save it alongside any screenshots of your account page.

What Canadians can do instead

We do not name a replacement for Richard Casino. The better question is which sites are legal where you live, and that depends on your province:

  • Ontario: regulated sites are registered with the AGCO and have an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario.
  • Alberta: regulated sites are registered with the AGLC under an agreement with the AiGC, a market open since 13 July 2026.
  • Other provinces: the regulated option is the provincially run site; for one example, see our Nova Scotia page.

Offshore casinos that accept Canadians are not licensed by any province. Our legal online casinos page sets out the options by province, and the casino list shows the sites we have checked, each with its province status. The legal age is 19, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. If you were drawn to Richard Casino for its spins, our free spins page explains how to judge any offer before you deposit.
