PlayAlberta is the casino the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) runs itself, and its revenue goes to the province's General Revenue Fund. It describes its slot section as hundreds of games with progressive jackpots, and its welcome bonus is built for slot play, with 60 spins on 7s Wild alongside a deposit match.
The lobby says little about itself. PlayAlberta names a few games but no studios and no game count, and from outside the province only the lobby shell loaded when we checked in October 2026. Its terms, offers and payment rules were readable, and they are what this page works from.

PlayAlberta's slot section is described in one line: hundreds of exciting slot games, plus progressive jackpots. There is no total and no list of studios on any page we could read. Its terms name NeoPollard Interactive as the company behind the platform.

Reading the welcome offer as a slot player
New players choose between two codes with a first deposit of at least $10:
- CASINOMATCH1000: $1 of casino bonus for every $1 deposited, up to a $1,000 match, with a 20x playthrough. It also adds one $50 sports bonus bet and 60 bonus spins on 7s Wild, credited 10 a day for six days.
- 100CASINOBONUS: a flat $100 casino bonus with an 8x playthrough.
The spins are the friendliest part. They need only a 1x playthrough, though each daily batch of ten expires after 24 hours, so you need to log in on six different days to collect them all. The match is better value for larger deposits; the flat $100 suits a small first deposit such as the $10 minimum, because $100 is more than a $10 match would give and its playthrough is lower.
Not every Casino, Instant or Live Dealer game counts fully toward the playthrough, and the bonus terms link to the list. Money in, money out: the deposit rule
The rule to know before your first deposit sits in section 5.03 of the Player Agreement: under PlayAlberta's anti-money-laundering policy, deposits are final and only winnings can be withdrawn. Money you deposit and then decide not to play stays in the account. Deposit only what you plan to play with, and set a deposit limit first if you want a firm ceiling.
Withdrawals start at $10 and go out by Interac e-Transfer, PayPal or electronic bank transfer. Visa, Mastercard and Apple Pay are deposit-only. Deposits start at $5 and are capped at $25,000 a day and $100,000 a week, and an account balance limit also applies. Payout times are not published.
Identity is checked with a soft Equifax Canada inquiry run through PlayAlberta and NeoPollard Interactive. An account inactive for one year may be closed, and a balance under $10 is then forfeited. Our PayPal casinos page lists other sites that pay to PayPal.
Who can play, and how to get help
PlayAlberta is open only to players at least 18 years old and physically located in Alberta. Since Alberta's regulated market opened on 13 July 2026, private casinos registered with AGLC and operating with the Alberta iGaming Corporation also serve the province; PlayAlberta is the one AGLC runs itself, and it appears on AGLC's iGaming operator list with no expiry date.
The iOS app, Play Alberta Casino & Sports, was released on 1 October 2024, and the site also runs in a mobile browser. We saw no Google Play link on the pages we checked, so Android users should plan on the browser version.
