PointsBet
Available in Ontario
Operator site: on.pointsbet.ca (not a link - check the address yourself)
PointsBet runs its Canadian casino at on.pointsbet.ca, operated by PointsBet Canada Operations 1 Inc under AGCO registration and the conduct and management of iGaming Ontario. To place a bet you must be 19 or older and physically in Ontario. An Alberta site at pointsbet.ca has an AGLC registration but was still a pre-registration page on 23 October 2026.
For slot players the story is uneven. The bonus terms and the cashier are documented in unusual detail in the help centre, while the game lobby sits behind the login and its size and studio list are not published. This page covers both halves, and flags where the operator's own articles disagree.
Lobby
The slot lobby
Counts and provider names as the casino publishes them. Lobbies change every week, so treat a count as the size on the date shown.
PointsBet publishes no game counts or provider list we could source.
What PointsBet shows of its slot lobby
PointsBet keeps its casino lobby behind the login, so the usual lobby numbers - total games, slot count, jackpot titles, studios - are not published anywhere a visitor can read. No provider list appears on the public pages or in the help centre.
Two titles are named by the operator itself. The help centre uses Golden Wealth Baccarat as its example in an article on minimum and maximum bets, and Aviator, the crash game, is also named. Neither is a slot, so they say nothing about the reels side of the lobby beyond confirming that table and instant games sit in it too.
The more useful detail is on fairness. PointsBet says its random number generators are independently tested and certified by regulated external testing agencies, though it does not name the lab. It publishes no site-wide payout percentage; instead, each game shows its theoretical RTP in its own Information or Help section. That is worth using: the same slot can run at different RTP settings at different casinos, as our guide to RTP versions explains, so check the figure in the game panel before you commit to a long session.
The casino is in the same app as the sportsbook. It is listed on the App Store as PointsBet Sportsbook & Casino and on Google Play, and it also runs in a browser.

The CASINO code, worked through in dollars
New Ontario accounts get a 125% Deposit Match on the first deposit with the code CASINO, up to $500 in Casino Bonus, as published in the PointsBet help centre in October 2026. The minimum first deposit is $10; anything less forfeits the offer. The playthrough is 15 times the bonus, to be completed within your first 14 days, after which any unconverted bonus is lost.
Here is what that means at the two ends of the offer, using only the published figures:
| First deposit | Bonus at 125% | Wagering at 15x the bonus |
|---|---|---|
| $10 (the minimum) | $12.50 | $187.50 |
| $400 | $500 (the cap) | $7,500 |
Two mechanics matter on slots. Each stake is split 50% from your cash balance and 50% from your bonus balance, so you are playing both at once rather than cash first. And bets above the maximum stake allowed with a bonus are rejected; the cap is set per game, so check the game before you raise your stake.
After the welcome match, the help centre lists PointsBet Rewards points, Toonie Tuesday and Bet Insurance casino promotions, and a Refer a Friend scheme. Their individual terms were not part of what we checked. The wagering calculator handles any other deposit size.
Cash out
Payments and payout time
Fastest published withdrawal time: 30 minutes (PayPal) source. Identity checks can add days to a first withdrawal.
No payment list we could source.
Cashing out: methods, times and the conflicting answer
PointsBet applies a standard one business day of processing to every withdrawal. After that, the help centre quotes these times:
- PayPal - 30 minutes.
- Interac e-Transfer - 1-2 hours in one article, 1-2 business days in another. We could not tell which is current, so plan for the longer figure.
- Trustly Online Banking - 1-2 business days.
Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay and Google Pay take deposits only. PointsBet charges no card fee, but your bank may treat a card deposit as a cash advance and charge for it.
A withdrawal can take longer when the payments team verifies it, which the help centre puts at 3-5 business days. Identity is matched automatically at sign-up where possible; if not, you upload ID images and a selfie, and account verification can take up to 24 hours. Money only goes back to an account in your own name. No withdrawal cap is published, but payouts over $10,000 may be held for 24-48 hours of extra processing.
One unusual point: deposits and withdrawals work from any province. The only thing you cannot do outside Ontario is place a wager.

Ontario now, Alberta on a waitlist
The Ontario site is the only live PointsBet casino for Canadians. Its terms name PointsBet Canada Operations 1 Inc, it is listed in the iGaming Ontario directory for casino and sports betting, and its footer states it is licensed and regulated by the AGCO under the conduct and management of iGaming Ontario. The parent says it is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.
Alberta is different. The same company holds an AGLC iGaming operator registration that expires on 13 July 2027, but on 23 October 2026 pointsbet.ca was not in the Alberta iGaming Corporation's directory of registered sites. The page offers pre-registration for an "exclusive welcome offer" at launch with no terms attached, and answers its own question about the launch date with "Soon." Quebec and the other provinces are not served.
A warning on addresses: pointsbetcasino.com is a third-party information site, not a PointsBet casino. It has no cashier of its own.
Responsible-gambling tools include deposit, loss, spend and time limits, Take a Break, and self-exclusion for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. Ontario's BetGuard is also available, and it covers only Ontario's regulated sites. See our responsible gambling guide.
Our verdict on PointsBet's slots
PointsBet's Ontario casino is regulated and clearly documented, and its 125% match asks for 15 times the bonus, to be met within 14 days. Payouts by PayPal are quoted at 30 minutes. What it does not publish is the slot lobby itself - no game count, no provider list - so the lobby scores stay low until those are public. Alberta players have to wait.
Best for: Ontario slot players who want a light playthrough on a first-deposit match and fast PayPal withdrawals.
Skip if: You live outside Ontario, or you want to see the full game and studio list before you open an account.

Questions about PointsBet
Not for real money. You must be physically in Ontario to place a wager on on.pointsbet.ca. The help centre says deposits and withdrawals work from any province, but wagering does not. The Alberta site was a pre-registration page on 23 October 2026, and no other province is served.
The code is CASINO. It gives a 125% match on your first deposit, up to $500 in Casino Bonus, with a $10 minimum deposit. The bonus must be played through 15 times within your first 14 days, according to the PointsBet help centre in October 2026.
Every withdrawal has one business day of processing first. After that, PayPal is quoted at 30 minutes and Trustly at 1-2 business days. Interac is given as 1-2 hours in one help article and 1-2 business days in another. A withdrawal checked by the payments team can need 3-5 business days of verification.
PointsBet does not publish its provider list on logged-out pages, and the lobby loads only after login. We found no operator source naming its studios as of October 2026, so we have not listed any. Each game does show its theoretical RTP in its own help section.
The Ontario site is registered with the AGCO and operates under an iGaming Ontario agreement, and it holds the Responsible Gambling Council's RG Check accreditation. Its RNGs are certified by external testing agencies, though the lab is not named. Support runs 24/7 by chat, phone and email.
