12 Masks of Fire Drum Frenzy Review - Demo, RTP & Where to Play

Where Drum Frenzy fits in the Masks of Fire line

Gameburger Studios built the Masks of Fire series for Games Global, and its related titles show how wide the line has become: 9 Masks of Fire, 12 Masks of Fire Drums, 12 Masks of Fire Night Fever, 12 Masks of Fire Eruption Prize Flow and 9 Masks of Fire King Millions. Drum Frenzy is the September 2025 entry.

The names are close enough to cause mistakes, so here is the short version of what is confirmed for this one:

The most important difference from its predecessor is not visible on the tile. 12 Masks of Fire Drums came out in 2024 and is a separate game, with its own rules. If a casino lists both, check the full title before you play and before you trust any figure on this page.

Stake limits and a bonus buy are not covered in the published material, so we do not state them. Open the bet panel at your casino to see the range it allows. The original 9 Masks of Fire has its own page if you want to compare where the series began.

Finding Drum Frenzy in a Canadian lobby

Seventy-three casinos on our list include Games Global among their providers, but that does not prove each one stocks a September 2025 release. When we checked, one casino showed the game itself:

Wildz is an offshore site. Elsewhere, search the lobby for the full title, 12 Masks of Fire Drum Frenzy, because the 2024 game 12 Masks of Fire Drums and other 12 Masks titles may appear next to it. Open the game rules and check that the features listed include the Tower Bonus and Drum Frenzy before you play.

Where you can play legally is a provincial question. An Ontario site must be AGCO-registered and hold an iGaming Ontario agreement. An Alberta site, since 13 July 2026, needs AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement. In the other provinces, the provincially run site is the regulated choice. None of the provinces licenses offshore casinos. Players need to be 19, or 18 if they live in Alberta, Manitoba or Quebec.

Epic Strike: what the mask scatters pay

The masks are the scatters, and they pay through a feature called Epic Strike. Landing anywhere from 3 to 12 mask scatters awards a prize from 1x up to 4,000x the bet. The more masks, the higher the prize, with 4,000x as the top step.

Reaching the top step needs twelve masks in view at once, which on a 5x3 grid of fifteen positions means almost the whole screen.

Epic Strike has a cash add-on. Epic Strike Cash masks carry a value of their own, and that value is added to the Epic Strike payout. So a scatter win can be worth more than the base Epic Strike ladder alone suggests when cash masks are among the scatters.

Three things are not covered in the public material: the exact prize for each mask count between 3 and 12, the range of values a cash mask can carry, and how often each step lands. Those details sit in the game's paytable, which you can open from the menu at your casino. Reading it before you play gives you a sense of how much of the game's value sits in the higher mask counts.

The Tower Bonus and the four drum outcomes

The Tower Bonus is Drum Frenzy's main feature, and its defining rule is that it always pays. Gameburger describes it as guaranteeing an award, and that award is one of four:

The structure reads like a ladder. The cash prize is the simplest outcome. Jumbo Drum and Cash Drum each improve one side of the round: bigger symbols to collect more drums, or higher cash values on the prize ladder. Drum Frenzy, the outcome the game is named after, brings both together.

The published material does not say how the Tower Bonus is triggered, how the outcome is chosen or how often each of the four comes up. A guaranteed award is not a guaranteed large award: the cash prize at the bottom of the tower may be modest. Read the rules screen to see how the tower works in the version you play.

Cash Drum values of up to 250x are the one published figure inside the bonus. How far the tower can climb once those values are added is a question for the paytable, not for us.

WIN BOOSTER: the 1.5x ante bet

WIN BOOSTER is an optional ante bet. Switching it on raises the cost of every spin to 1.5x the stake, and in return the game gives more chance to trigger its features. The studio does not publish how much more chance, so we cannot say whether the extra half-stake buys a large or small improvement.

Think of it as a trade: every spin costs 50% more, and features are expected to arrive more often. Over a session the extra cost adds up quickly, so it is worth deciding before you start whether to use it, rather than switching it on after a run of quiet spins.

The published RTP is 96.05% and no separate figure is given for WIN BOOSTER play. Some studios list a different return for their ante modes; Games Global's public material for this game does not. Check the game rules at your casino for any line covering the booster.

No bonus buy is described in the published material for this game. If your casino shows a buy option, read its price and rules in the game before using it. Any extra-cost option is a bigger bet, and the features it reaches can return less than they cost. RTP, volatility and a disputed top win

Gameburger's game page gives an RTP of 96.05% and a volatility rating of Medium-High. That return sits a little below the 96.5% line our high RTP list uses, and close to the original 9 Masks of Fire at 96.24%. No other RTP versions are published; the rules screen in your casino's version shows the figure it runs.

The top win is where the sources disagree:

• Games Global's press release for the launch gives a maximum win of 5,000x.
• Gameburger's game page speaks of an increased win potential of 4,000x, which matches the top Epic Strike prize.

We cannot tell from the public material which is right, or whether the 5,000x figure includes something the 4,000x figure leaves out, such as cash masks added to an Epic Strike. We show both. The game's own rules screen at your casino is the tie-breaker; if it states a maximum win, that is the figure that applies to you.

Demo status

Games Global serves a demo of 12 Masks of Fire Drum Frenzy through its own launcher, and that is what the free game on this page uses. On 22 October 2026, tested from outside Canada, it reached the loading screen and logged in to demo mode, then stalled on a general error from the game server. The same link has not been tried from Canada, where it may behave differently.

If it fails for you as well, a casino lobby that lists the game may offer its own free mode, or the launcher may recover later, since the fault sat with the game server.

A working demo is worth the effort here. It lets you open the paytable and see the Epic Strike prize for each mask count, the cash mask values and the Tower Bonus rules, none of which are published elsewhere. It also lets you try WIN BOOSTER for a few dozen spins with play money before deciding whether the extra half-stake is worth it to you.
