Verdict

A straightforward 25-line game whose real purpose is the Mega Moolah wheel, reached through bells on the low symbols. Free spins add a multiplier that climbs every spin. The base RTP of 86.76%, plus 5.30% that funds the jackpots, is low, and the game publishes no volatility, bet range or maximum win. Play it for the jackpot chance, with a budget that assumes you will not win one.

Best for: Players who specifically want a shot at the Mega Moolah progressive jackpots in a simple 25-line game.

Skip if: You care most about RTP: the base return is 86.76%, with another 5.30% going to the jackpots.

Mega Moolah Lucky Bells is a 2022 slot from Gold Coin Studios, released through Games Global on 28 July 2022 as part of the Mega Moolah progressive network. It runs on 5 reels and 3 rows with 25 fixed paylines. The draw is the jackpot wheel: small bells on the lowest-paying symbols can open a single spin of the Mega Moolah wheel, which awards one of four progressive jackpots.

The game's help pages split the RTP into two parts, 86.76% from regular play and 5.30% that feeds the jackpots. They publish no volatility rating, bet range or maximum win, and the demo did not load when we checked it. This review explains how the Mega Moolah Lucky Bells slot plays, what that RTP split means in dollars, and how to find it at a casino. Figures were checked on 28 October 2026.

What kind of game Lucky Bells is

Strip away the jackpot and Lucky Bells is a classic line slot: 5 reels, 3 rows and 25 paylines that are always active. There is no grid, no cascade and no cluster pays. The theme leans on gold coins and bells, and the bonus symbol is a three-coin stack.

Games Global released it in July 2022 as one of the titles connected to the Mega Moolah progressive network. That connection shapes the whole design. The regular paytable and free spins carry only part of the return; a share of every bet goes into the progressive jackpots instead.

Three building blocks matter:

  • The wild substitutes for regular symbols in the base game and in free spins. It has no payout of its own and never lands on reel 1.
  • The bonus symbol lands on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the base game and triggers free spins.
  • The bell sub-symbol rides on the four lowest-paying symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4, and opens the jackpot wheel.

The help pages give no symbol pay values, so we cannot tell you what five of a kind pays on any symbol. That limits how much we can say about the base game's line wins.

One practical point follows from the fixed paylines. Every spin covers all 25 lines, so you cannot cut the cost of a spin by playing fewer of them. The only lever you have over the cost is the total bet, and in this game that lever also affects the jackpot chance, as the next sections explain.

Casinos

Where to play Mega Moolah Lucky Bells

How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Games Global; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.

Demo status and where to play Mega Moolah Lucky Bells

Games Global's demo launcher still knows the title, but when it was checked on 28 October 2026 from outside Canada the chain ended on a "file or directory not found" error page. It did not look like a regional block; the demo path itself seemed to be missing. It has not been checked from Canada, and no demo is embedded on this page. With no working demo there was also no way to check phone play, which is why mobile scores zero.

The practical route is the provider: our Games Global page shows the casinos whose published provider lists include the studio. Being on that list does not mean a casino carries Lucky Bells, because operators pick titles one by one. Look the game up by its full name in the lobby, and read the RTP on its info screen before you bet.

Ontario players are covered only at operators the AGCO has registered that have also signed an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. Alberta opened its own regulated market on 13 July 2026, with AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement as the test. In every other province, the one licensed choice is the site the province runs itself. A casino based offshore has no licence from any Canadian province.

You must be 19 or older to play for real money, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. Our jackpot slots page covers the other progressive games we review.

How the bells reach the Mega Moolah wheel

The jackpot trigger in Lucky Bells is something you can see on the reels. In the base game, a small bell can appear on top of one of the four lowest-paying symbols on reels 2, 3 and 4. Games Global describes the wheel as coming from three bells, one on each of those reels.

When the bells line up across reels 2, 3 and 4, the game gives you one spin of the Mega Moolah wheel. The wheel awards one of four progressive jackpots. The game does not publish the jackpot names, starting values or the odds of each segment in its public help, so we do not quote any amounts here.

A few rules from the help pages are worth knowing:

  • The bell does not change line wins. A low symbol carrying a bell pays exactly as it would without one.
  • Bells appear in the base game only, so the wheel cannot trigger during free spins.
  • The wild does not substitute for a bell.
  • A higher total bet improves the chance of winning a progressive jackpot.

That last point deserves a second look. Chasing the wheel with a bigger stake makes each spin dearer, and the help file gives no higher everyday return than 86.76% for bigger stakes. Most spins will never show three bells.

Eight free spins with a climbing multiplier

Free spins start when bonus symbols land on reels 1, 3 and 5 in the base game. The round gives 8 free spins, played on a separate reel set from the base game.

Two features shape the round:

  1. A rising win multiplier. It starts at 1x and goes up by 1 on every free spin. The later spins in the round carry the largest multipliers, so the end of the round is where the best wins can come.
  2. Plus One symbols. These appear in free spins only, on reels 1, 3 and 5. Each one adds 1 free spin. Every extra spin also adds another step to the multiplier, which makes a Plus One worth more the longer the round runs.

The wild keeps working in free spins, substituting for regular symbols. The jackpot wheel does not, because bells are a base-game feature.

Without published symbol pays, we cannot put a dollar value on a typical free spins round. What the rules make clear is the shape: a short, multiplier-driven bonus that rewards long runs of Plus One symbols. Treat it as the secondary feature; the wheel is the main event.

Maths

RTP and volatility in dollars

Over a very long run, Mega Moolah Lucky Bells is set to pay back about C$86.76 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$13.24. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$66.20 - real sessions land far above or below that.

The RTP in two parts

The game's help file lists the return as 86.76%, with an additional 5.30% jackpot contribution. Added together that is 92.06%. The two parts work differently, and that is why we show both rather than one figure.

PartShare of every C$100 wageredWho gets it
Regular play: line wins and free spinsabout C$86.76Paid back across all players' spins over the long run
Jackpot contributionabout C$5.30Builds the progressive jackpots, paid to the few players who win one
House edgeabout C$7.94Kept by the house

For almost every session, the 86.76% figure is the one that describes your experience. The 5.30% only comes back to you if the wheel lands on a jackpot for you. That is the trade this game makes: a lower everyday return in exchange for a small chance at a very large prize.

Without a published volatility rating, we cannot say how bumpy the regular play is. A jackpot game with a low base return should be played with a firm budget. Our guide to RTP versions explains how returns are set, and the responsible gambling page lists the limit tools to use before you start.

Bet size, budgets and the jackpot chance

The help pages state one rule that changes how people play this game: a higher total bet improves the chance of winning a progressive jackpot. The game does not publish how much the chance rises, and it does not publish the bet range either. The minimum and maximum stake you see depend on the casino.

What the rules do make clear is the cost side. The help file gives one regular return, 86.76%, plus the 5.30% that goes into the jackpots, with no change by stake. So a bigger stake buys a better chance at the wheel, but it also means you lose more per spin on average, at the same rate. Over many spins the house keeps about C$7.94 of every C$100 wagered.

A practical way to handle that:

  • Decide your whole session budget before the first spin, not your stake per spin.
  • Choose a stake that lets the budget last as long as you want to play, and leave it there.
  • Do not raise the stake after a loss to improve the jackpot chance; chasing losses with bigger bets only raises what you stand to lose.
  • Turn on the deposit and session limits at your casino. Provincial self-exclusion covers only that province's regulated sites.

Progressive jackpots are rare by design. Treat any spin of the wheel as a bonus, not as the plan.

Other games on the Mega Moolah wheel

Lucky Bells is one of several games that share the Mega Moolah jackpot wheel. Each has its own base game, its own RTP split and its own way of reaching the wheel, so compare them on their own pages rather than assuming the figures match:

A naming trap to avoid: Vegas Bells is also a Gold Coin Studios game with bells in the name, but it is not a Mega Moolah title and has no link to the progressive wheel. If what you want is the jackpot chance, check that the game's title includes Mega Moolah. And since each network game sets its own base return and contribution, the RTP line in the info screen is the quickest way to compare two of them before you pick one.
