What the 4 Pack adds to Wolf Gold

Pragmatic Play kept almost everything that defines the base game of Wolf Gold. The wolf is still the wild, the buffalo still pays the same top amount, and the five animals and four card symbols carry the original pays. If you have played Wolf Gold, the base game will look familiar.

The difference is in what happens after the trigger:

• A wheel in front of the bonus. Three canyon scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 spin a Bonus Wheel that picks a feature or pays a jackpot.

These are not progressive jackpots. They scale with your stake and never grow on their own. The rules do not publish how often the wheel lands on each segment, so we cannot say how likely a Grand is compared with a Mini. What we can say is that the Grand alone takes you to within 100x of the game's overall cap.

The wheel is also what the 100x buy gives you. A bought spin can therefore end as a fixed jackpot rather than a respin feature, and the jackpot may be worth more or much less than the price you paid. If you want the jackpot chance, that is a reason to buy; if you only want the grids, remember the wheel decides which you get.

Moons, grids and respins

The moon is the money symbol of Wolf Gold 4 Pack. Each one shows a value between 1x and 5,000x the total bet. Gold moons work the same way with values from 2x to 5,000x, plus two extra powers. The respin features are built entirely around them.

How a respin feature plays out:

1. Moons stick. Moons that land stay on their grid for the rest of the feature.
2. Three respins per grid. Each grid starts with 3 respins. A new moon on a grid resets that grid's counter to 3.
3. Gold moons help every grid. A gold moon resets the respins of all active grids, not just its own, and in the Bonus feature it unlocks both bottom grids.
4. Full grids pay extra. Every grid completely filled with moons or gold moons adds 1,000x the total bet on top of the moon values.

That structure makes the gold moon the key symbol. In the standard Bonus you start with two grids, and a single gold moon doubles your playing area and refreshes every counter. Four full grids would add 4,000x in completion prizes alone, but the overall cap of 5,100x per round still applies to the total.

The moon also triggers features from the base game: five moons on the reels start the Bonus, and six or more start the Super Bonus.

Bonus or Super Bonus

Both features use the same moon and respin rules. The difference is how many grids are live at the start and how you get there.

The Super Bonus is the better outcome because it skips the step of finding a gold moon. With four grids live from the first respin, every moon has four chances to land somewhere useful, and each grid can earn its own 1,000x completion prize.

The standard Bonus can end up in the same place, but only if a gold moon lands before the top two grids run out of respins. That is the moment to watch for in the demo.

Buying the wheel, the RTP and the 5,100x cap

The in-game rules list two RTP figures. The regular game returns 96.51%. Buying the Bonus Wheel returns 96.55%. Over a very long run that leaves a theoretical house edge of 3.49% or 3.45% of everything wagered.

The buy costs 100x the total bet and takes you straight to the wheel, which then decides between the Bonus, the Super Bonus or a jackpot. Using the demo's bet limits:

A buy does not guarantee a good result. The wheel can land on the Mini at 10x, which returns a tenth of the 100x price. The slightly higher RTP is an average over a very large number of buys, not a promise about the next one.

The 5,100x cap is close to the 5,000x Grand, and only five times the 1,000x prize for one full grid. It means the best possible round is only a little larger than the top jackpot on its own.
