Verdict
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter keeps the original's pace, orbs and Medium label and adds Super Scatters that pay up to 50,000x the base bet on a free spins trigger. RTP sits between 96.49% and 96.55% depending on mode. It runs in the browser demo. The top prize rests on a very rare event, so play it for the original's rhythm, not for the cap.
Best for: Fans of the original who want a far larger top prize without moving to a High-volatility version.
Skip if: You dislike prizes that rest on one rare event; the cap needs four Super Scatters at once.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is Pragmatic Play's April 2025 take on its Zeus slot. It keeps the familiar 6x5 grid, the scatter pays, the tumbles and the multiplier orbs from 2x to 500x, then adds one new symbol: the Super Scatter, which pays a fixed prize of up to 50,000x the base bet when it lands with a free spins trigger.
That one symbol is why this version's cap is ten times the original's. This Gates of Olympus Super Scatter review covers what each Super Scatter count pays, the four RTP figures for its modes, the demo with and without the bonus buy, and the Canadian casinos that named the game on their own pages in October 2026.

Gates of Olympus Super Scatter at a glance
Before the detail, here is what sets this title apart from the other Zeus games, in five points:
- The cap is 50,000x the stake, against 5,000x on the 2021 original and 15,000x on Gates of Olympus 1000.
- The cap comes from the base game. Four Super Scatters on a trigger spin pay 50,000x on their own, and Super Scatters do not appear in free spins.
- The orbs are the original's: 2x to 500x, added together at the end of a tumble sequence.
- Volatility is Medium in the game's own rules, the same label as the original.
- There are two buys: 100x for free spins and 500x for Super Free Spins, where every orb is worth at least 10x.
The symbol pays are identical to the other Gates of Olympus titles. The crown pays 10x the bet for eight or nine, 25x for ten or eleven and 50x for twelve or more, down to the blue gem at 0.25x for eight. Wins need eight or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid, with no paylines.
The bet range in the demo is C$0.20 to C$240 for the base bet, and up to C$360 with the ante bet on, because the ante multiplies the stake by 1.5. Real-money limits are set by each casino.
The provider's game page shows an empty RTP field, so the return figures, volatility, maximum win and bet limits on this page come from the in-game rules of Pragmatic's own demo.
Casinos
Where to play Gates of Olympus Super Scatter
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Pragmatic Play; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Casinos that named it, and their licences
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter turned up on the pages of five casinos we cover, all checked on 23 October 2026. Which of them suits you depends far more on where you live than on the game, which is the same Pragmatic Play title on every site.
FanDuel Casino showed it on casino.fanduel.ca, the domain FanDuel uses for both its Ontario and its Alberta casino. The brand is registered with the AGCO in Ontario and the AGLC in Alberta. BetNova showed it on its Ontario site, betnova.ca, which carries an AGCO registration.
Slots Magic listed it on its home page. The brand holds a Malta Gaming Authority licence as well as Ontario and Alberta registrations, so check which of its sites you are on. Caxino and Spinz showed it on their Canadian pages; both hold Malta licences and no provincial registration on our records.
Beyond those five, 84 of the casinos we cover publish a provider list that includes Pragmatic Play. That makes the game likely to be available in many more lobbies, but a provider list is not proof of one specific title. Search the lobby for the full name, because Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000 and Gates of Olympus 2500 all sit next to it and look alike.
Keep each sighting with the site it came from. A brand's Ontario, Alberta and offshore sites can be run by different companies with different terms and lobbies.

What a Super Scatter pays
A Super Scatter counts as a normal scatter and also carries a prize of its own. The prize is paid only on a spin with four or more scatters of any kind, that is, normal Zeus scatters and Super Scatters together. On such a spin, the number of Super Scatters decides the extra payout, as a multiple of the base bet:
| Super Scatters on the spin | Prize | At a C$0.20 base bet |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 100x | C$20 |
| 2 | 500x | C$100 |
| 3 | 5,000x | C$1,000 |
| 4 | 50,000x | C$10,000 |
Since four or more scatters also trigger free spins, every Super Scatter prize arrives together with a bonus round. The prize is paid on the trigger spin; Super Scatters then do not appear during the free spins themselves.
The prizes are figured on the base bet. With the ante bet on you pay 1.5 times as much per spin, while the Super Scatter prizes stay tied to the base amount. The ante raises the chance of scatters and Super Scatters landing, which is what the extra stake buys.
Four Super Scatters is the single result that reaches the full 50,000x cap. At the C$240 base maximum that is C$12,000,000. The game's rules do not say how often each count lands, and a 50,000x prize on a Medium-volatility slot should be read as a very rare ceiling rather than part of normal play.
Free spins and the orbs
Four or more scatters of any kind award 15 free spins. From there the round plays like the original Gates of Olympus.
Multiplier orbs from 2x to 500x can land on any spin or tumble. In free spins, the orbs from each winning spin are added to a running total, and every later win in the round is multiplied by that total. An orb that lands on a spin without a win adds nothing. Three or more scatters during the round add five more spins.
The base game uses the same orbs in a simpler way: the values on screen are added together at the end of a tumble sequence and applied to that sequence's win.
Super Free Spins
The 500x buy leads to a different version of the round, called Super Free Spins. The only change the rules describe is a floor on the orbs: every multiplier in the round is at least 10x. That removes the 2x and 5x orbs that make many normal rounds slow to build.
A bought round starts with four to six scatters on the trigger spin, so a buy never means a bare minimum trigger. Both buys are switched off while the ante bet is on.
More slots with a running multiplier or orbs are in our high-volatility list and our bonus buy list.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter is set to pay back about C$96.50 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.50. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$17.50 - real sessions land far above or below that.
The same game also exists at 96.55%, 96.50%, 96.49%. A lower version costs more per C$100 wagered, and the casino - not you - picks which one runs.
Medium volatility: a mix of small wins and occasional bigger features. The cap is 50,000x: C$50,000 on a C$1 spin.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter RTP by mode
The provider's game page leaves its RTP field empty, so the figures come from the in-game rules of Pragmatic's demo. They give a separate return for each way of playing:
| Mode | Stake | RTP |
|---|---|---|
| Normal spin | 1x base bet | 96.50% |
| Ante bet | 1.5x base bet | 96.55% |
| Buy Free Spins | 100x base bet | 96.50% |
| Buy Super Free Spins | 500x base bet | 96.49% |
The spread is small, six hundredths of a point from top to bottom. The ante bet has the highest figure, but the difference is far too small to change what a session feels like. The gap between the ante and a normal spin is 0.05 percentage points.
What matters more is the version the casino runs. Operators choose which version they run, and the game's info screen on the site you use is the only place that shows the one in force. Our RTP versions guide shows where to find it.
Medium, not High
The game's rules label the volatility Medium, the same as the original and lower than the High of Gates of Olympus 1000. Affiliate sites sometimes quote other ratings on an older scale; we use the label in the game. A Medium label with a 50,000x cap is less of a contradiction than it looks: the cap rests on a single rare event, four Super Scatters, while the rest of the game stays close to the original's shape.
The demo, the bonus buy and the ante
The free demo on this page is the one Gates of Olympus Super Scatter demo Pragmatic publishes itself, in Canadian dollars, with the full rules and paytable. It needs no account.
Whether you see the buy depends on the build. When the demo was opened from Europe, Pragmatic's server switched to its UK build, which hides the bonus buy and some bet modes. With the international setting that Pragmatic's own site uses, both buys appear. That is why a Gates of Olympus Super Scatter demo with bonus buy can look different from one without it on another site. Our checks were not run from Canada, so what a Canadian casino's build shows is not confirmed.
What each option costs
- Ante bet: 1.5x the base bet, so C$0.30 at the C$0.20 minimum. It turns the buy off.
- Buy Free Spins: 100x, so C$20 at the minimum.
- Buy Super Free Spins: 500x, so C$100 at the minimum.
The demo is the sensible place to try the 500x option. One purchase costs as much as 500 normal spins, and the floor of 10x on every orb is easier to judge after seeing a few rounds for free.
To play Gates of Olympus Super Scatter for real money, the regulated choices are AGCO-registered sites with an iGaming Ontario agreement in Ontario and AGLC-registered sites with an AiGC agreement in Alberta, live since 13 July 2026. Other provinces have the provincial lottery corporation's site; offshore casinos are not licensed by any province. The minimum age is 19, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.

Which Zeus game to open
Pragmatic lists Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000, Gates of Olympus 2500, Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000 and Gates of Olympus Dice as related titles. The ones reviewed here share the 6x5 grid and the scatter pays, so the choice comes down to how each one reaches its cap.
- Gates of Olympus: orbs to 500x, cap 5,000x, Medium.
- Gates of Olympus 1000: orbs to 1,000x, cap 15,000x, High.
- Gates of Olympus Super Scatter: orbs to 500x, cap 50,000x through Super Scatters, Medium.
- Gates of Olympus 2500: orbs to 2,500x, cap 25,000x, High.
The Super Scatter version is the one to pick if you like the original's pace and want a much larger top prize, accepting that the prize depends on a rare base-game event. The 1000 and 2500 put their extra potential into the orbs instead, which spreads it across free spins but raises the volatility.
Pragmatic used the same Super Scatter idea on a candy slot as well; see Sugar Rush Super Scatter. The full studio list is on our Pragmatic Play page, and limits and where to get help are on the responsible gambling page.
Gates of Olympus Super Scatter questions
The in-game rules give 96.50% for normal spins, 96.55% with the ante bet, 96.50% for the free spins buy and 96.49% for the Super Free Spins buy. Casinos pick the version they run, so check the info screen on the site you play.
On a spin with four or more scatters of any kind, one Super Scatter pays 100x the base bet, two pay 500x, three pay 5,000x and four pay 50,000x. At a C$0.20 base bet that is C$20, C$100, C$1,000 or C$10,000.
Pragmatic's international demo build shows both buys, at 100x and 500x. Its UK build hides them. Our checks were not run from Canada, so whether a Canadian casino's version shows the buy is not confirmed; look for the button on the site you use.
The cap is 50,000x the stake, reached by four Super Scatters on one trigger spin. That is C$10,000 at the C$0.20 minimum and C$12,000,000 at the C$240 base maximum. The rules do not state how often it happens.
In October 2026 it was named on pages of FanDuel (Ontario and Alberta), BetNova's Ontario site, Slots Magic, Caxino and Spinz. In Ontario and Alberta, choose a site registered with the provincial regulator.
