Verdict

JetX is a crash game from 2018 with real flexibility: up to four bets, Auto Cashout and a published 25,000x top multiplier. The RTP is the catch. It runs from 96.2% to 98.9% depending on the casino's setting, and the demo caps wins at $10,000 per bet. In our listings only offshore casinos name SmartSoft, so Ontario and Alberta players have no regulated option for it yet.

Best for: Crash-game players who want several bets per round and a high published top multiplier.

Skip if: You need a fixed, published RTP, or you play only on Ontario- or Alberta-regulated sites.

JetX is a crash game launched by SmartSoft Gaming in 2018. Every player in a round bets before the jet takes off. As it climbs, a shared multiplier rises from 1.01x. Cash out while it is still flying and your stake is multiplied by the current figure; if the round ends before you do, the bet is lost.

This JetX game review covers what SmartSoft and the demo publish: a high volatility rating, a top multiplier of 25,000x, a demo cap of $10,000 per bet, and an RTP that is not one number but a range from 96.2% to 98.9% depending on how the casino configures the game. We also explain how to play JetX, where Canadians can find it, and what to make of JetX promo codes.

JetX win limits: the multiplier and the cap

A JetX win is your stake times the multiplier at the moment you cash out. Two published limits shape how large it can get.

The demo's Game limits panel lists a maximum multiplier of 25,000x and a win cap of $10,000 per bet. Both are operator-configurable, so a casino can set different values. Taking the demo figures, here is where the cap starts to bite:

StakeMultiplier at which the $10,000 cap is reached
$100 (demo maximum)100x
$0.4025,000x (the top multiplier)
$0.10 (demo minimum)Never - 25,000x pays $2,500

So the top multiplier only pays in full at small stakes. At the maximum stake, any round that goes past 100x pays the same $10,000 as one that reaches 25,000x.

Running several bets does not get around the cap, since it applies per bet. It also does not raise your chances. Four bets in one round are four separate stakes on the same multiplier.

For a wider look at how caps and top multipliers compare across games, our max win guide sets out what the published figures mean in practice.

Casinos

Where to play JetX

How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes SmartSoft Gaming; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.

Where to play JetX in Canada

There is no single Jet X casino: the game is distributed by SmartSoft Gaming to whichever operators sign up for it. In our listings only seven casinos publish SmartSoft in their provider lists, against 83 for Pragmatic Play:

One casino, Spinmama Casino, named JetX itself on an archived copy of its homepage from 6 February 2026, though its published provider list does not include SmartSoft.

Every site on that list is offshore. As of October 2026, not one SmartSoft casino in our listings is registered in Ontario or Alberta. That matters for where you live:

  • Ontario: legal online casinos are those the AGCO has registered and that hold an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario.
  • Alberta: private sites became legal on 13 July 2026, but only with an AGLC registration and an agreement with AiGC.
  • Everywhere else: the provincially run site is the regulated choice.

Offshore casinos accept Canadians in many provinces, but no province licenses them, and a provincial self-exclusion covers only that province's regulated sites, not these.

The age limit is 19 in most provinces and 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. If you need a regulated site in your province, start with our legal online casinos page.

How to play JetX, step by step

The game takes a minute to learn and has only a few moving parts.

  1. Place a bet before take-off. A JetX bet goes in between rounds, before the jet takes off. In the demo the stake runs from $0.10 to $100.
  2. Watch the multiplier. When the round starts, the jet climbs and the multiplier rises from 1.01x. All players see the same round and the same multiplier.
  3. Cash out. Press the button at any point while the jet is flying. Your return is the stake times the multiplier at that moment.
  4. Or lose the bet. If the round ends before you cash out, the whole stake is gone.

You can run one, two or four bets in the same round. The current version, New Era of JetX, launched on 14 September 2026 and offers the four-bet option. Multiple bets let you split your approach, for example cashing one out early and leaving another to ride.

Auto Cashout takes the human timing out of it: set a multiplier in advance, and the game cashes the bet out automatically if the round reaches it. Advanced Autoplay repeats bets for you. Both are useful for sticking to a plan, but neither improves the odds. A round history bar shows previous multipliers and a live list shows other players' bets. Past rounds do not predict the next one, however long a run of low or high results looks.

There is also a moderated chat. It can make the game feel social, but it is worth remembering that other players' cash-outs have no effect on yours.

Maths

RTP and volatility in dollars

Over a very long run, JetX is set to pay back about C$96.20 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.80. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$19.00 - real sessions land far above or below that.

High volatility: long dry spells are normal; most of the return sits in rare big features. The cap is 25,000x: C$25,000 on a C$1 spin.

The RTP range and what sets it

Most games publish one RTP. JetX's in-game rules give a range, 96.2% to 98.9%, and say the figure depends on the settings or configuration. In practice that means the operator chooses the version, and two casinos can run JetX with different long-run returns.

RTP settingHouse edgeLong-run return per dollar staked
96.2% (lowest)3.8%96.2 cents
98.9% (highest)1.1%98.9 cents

The gap looks small per round, but the house edge at the bottom of the range is more than three times the edge at the top. Over a long session, that difference adds up. The figures are long-run averages across all rounds and all players; a single evening can end far from either.

What to do about it: open the game's rules at your casino and look for the RTP shown there. If it is not shown, assume the lower end and plan your budget around a 3.8% house edge. Our guide to RTP versions explains how operators pick builds and where to find the figure.

SmartSoft labels the game's volatility as high. In a crash game, high volatility generally shows up as long runs of rounds that end early, broken up by occasional very high multipliers. Cashing out at a low target smooths the ride; waiting for high multipliers makes it bumpier. Neither changes the RTP. See our volatility guide for more.

JetX compared with other crash games

JetX dates from 2018. Here is how the published figures compare with the crash titles we cover:

GameStudioPublished RTPTop multiplier
JetXSmartSoft Gaming96.2% to 98.9%25,000x (demo)
AviatorSpribe97%None published
SpacemanPragmatic Play95%5,000x
Big Bass CrashPragmatic Play95.50%5,000x

JetX stands out on two counts: the highest published top multiplier in this group, and the option of four bets per round. Its weak point is the RTP range: at the bottom setting it returns less than Aviator, while at the top setting it returns more than any game in the table. Spaceman takes a different route with a 50% Auto Cashout that banks half a bet and lets the rest ride.

SmartSoft also makes JetX3, a separate game in the same family. If you prefer to make your decisions without a clock running, single-player games such as Mines and Chicken Road let you cash out between steps at your own pace.

JetX free game and demo

SmartSoft runs a free JetX demo game from its own site. When we loaded it on 22 October 2026 it opened with a $20,000 play-money balance, live rounds and the Game limits panel that the figures above come from. The currency code was not shown, so treat the balance as generic play money rather than Canadian dollars.

The free version mirrors the paid game, which makes it a good place to practise the things that matter: placing bets inside the short betting window, using two bet panels at once, and setting Auto Cashout. Because rounds are shared, you also see how often the jet ends early. That is useful context before staking real money.

Two cautions. First, JetX free play pays nothing, and a run of good demo rounds says nothing about future rounds. Second, the demo's limits and RTP are not a promise of what a casino runs, since both are configurable.

For more no-cost practice, our free slots page covers demos of other games, including crash titles.

JetX game promo code, MegaDrop and bonuses

A JetX game promo code is not part of the game itself. What JetX does have are two operator tools, MegaDrop and Jackpot, which SmartSoft describes as promo and jackpot features for casinos. Whether a casino uses them, and on what terms, is up to that casino, so any "code" attached to JetX is a casino promotion and lives in that casino's terms.

If a casino offers a bonus you want to use on JetX, read three things first:

  • Is the game allowed? Crash games are often excluded. For example, BetMGM Casino's Alberta new-player offer excludes crash games from its deposit match (checked 23 October 2026).
  • How much does it count? Game contribution tables can count non-slot games at a small fraction of each bet.
  • Is there a maximum bet? Many bonus terms cap the stake while wagering. BetBeast Casino, one of the sites listing SmartSoft, caps bets at 3 CAD with an active bonus (checked 28 October 2026).

The safest assumption is that bonus money and crash games do not mix well. Our casino bonuses page and wagering calculator help you check an offer before you accept it.
