Verdict
Big Bass Crash keeps the crash format simple: one shared multiplier, a cash-out button, half cash-out and automatic exits at a preset multiplier. The 95.50% RTP is lower than most slots on our site, and Pragmatic publishes no volatility rating, which scores zero. The 5,000x cap is clear, with a €500,000 per-bet limit on top. Use the auto cash-out and keep stakes small.
Best for: Players who like short rounds where their own cash-out decision sets the result, with tools to automate it.
Skip if: You want slot features, a free-spins round or a return to player above 96%.

What we like
- Simple shared round: bet, watch the multiplier, cash out before the net is lost
- Half cash-out locks a win on 50% of the bet and lets the rest ride
- Automatic cash-out at a preset multiplier, also in a 50% version
- Clear payout range of 1.01x to 5,000x per bet
Watch out for
- RTP of 95.50% is below the 96%-plus of many slots on our site
- No volatility rating is published by Pragmatic Play
- The demo table runs in euros, not Canadian dollars
- Payout per bet is capped at 5,000x or €500,000, whichever comes first
Big Bass Crash is a crash game, not a slot. Pragmatic Play took the fisherman from its Big Bass slots and put him in a shared multiplayer round: you place a bet before the round, a multiplier climbs while he fishes, and you cash out before he loses his net. Wait too long and the bet is gone. Payouts run from 1.01x to 5,000x the stake.
This page explains how a round works, the cash-out tools, the 95.50% RTP, the two limits on the top win and where to find Big Bass Crash in Canada. The free demo above lets you try the timing with play money.

A Big Bass game with no reels
If you know Pragmatic's Big Bass slots, the fisherman and the lake will look familiar, but nothing else carries over. There are no reels, paylines, symbols or free spins. Big Bass Crash is a round-based game shared by everyone at the table at the same moment.
- Before the round starts, you place your bet.
- The round begins and a multiplier starts to rise while the fisherman fishes.
- At any moment you can cash out, and your bet is paid at the multiplier shown.
- At a random point the fisherman loses his net. That is the crash: anyone still in the round loses the bet.
The smallest possible payout is 1.01x and the largest is 5,000x. Every player in the round sees the same multiplier and the same crash point; what differs is when each one chose to cash out. The game's whole skill element, if you can call it that, is the decision to leave. It does not change the odds, which are set by the game's RTP.
Its real relatives
Big Bass Crash plays like other crash games, such as Pragmatic's own Spaceman, far more than like the Big Bass slots. The comparison at the end of this page puts it beside them.
Two limits on the top win
Big Bass Crash caps a win in two ways at once. A single bet can pay at most 5,000x its stake. Separately, the game's own rules limit the payout per bet to €500,000. Whichever of the two is reached first applies.
At the stakes the demo allows, the 5,000x limit is the one that matters. The demo table accepts bets from €1 to €100, and 5,000x of €100 is €500,000, so the two limits meet at exactly the top demo stake. At any lower stake the multiplier cap is reached long before the money cap. A real-money casino sets its own bet range in its own currency, and the in-game rules there show the limits that apply.
The payout range of 1.01x to 5,000x tells you two more things. A cash-out at the very start of a round returns barely more than the stake. And the top multiplier is a ceiling, not a target. Our guide to max-win odds explains why a high cap says little about a typical session.
Because the round is shared, a crash ends it for everyone at once. There is no way to continue a single bet past the crash point.
Casinos
Where to play Big Bass Crash
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Pragmatic Play; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Finding Big Bass Crash at a Canadian casino
Big Bass Crash comes from Pragmatic Play, so it can appear at any casino that runs the studio's games. The list above shows casinos we cover whose provider lists include Pragmatic Play. We have not seen this title in a Canadian-facing lobby's top-games row, so treat each entry as a casino to check rather than a confirmed home for the game.
Searching the lobby by name is the quickest way to see whether it is there. A casino may place crash games under a heading of their own rather than among its slots, so a slot list alone is not a reliable guide.
Your province decides which casinos are legal for you. In Ontario, that means sites registered with the AGCO that operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario. In Alberta, it means sites registered with the AGLC under an AiGC agreement, live since 13 July 2026. In the other provinces, it means the government-run site of that province. Offshore casinos are not licensed by any province. The minimum age is 19, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Keep in mind that a brand's Ontario, Alberta and offshore sites can be run by different companies and carry different games. Our Pragmatic Play page lists more casinos with the studio, and our legal online casinos page explains the provincial picture.
Features
How Big Bass Crash plays
Base game and bonus features as the provider's rules describe them.
- Cashout 50% Secures a win on half the bet and lets the remaining half ride
- Auto Cashout / 50% Auto Cashout Automatic cash out at preset multipliers
- Live leaderboards and multiplayer chat Social features
- Double bet (2x) Bet doubling button
Cash-out tools: full, half and automatic
The cash-out decision is the whole game, and Big Bass Crash gives you four ways to make it.
| Tool | What it does |
|---|---|
| Cash out | Takes the full bet out at the current multiplier |
| Cashout 50% | Secures a win on half the bet and lets the other half ride |
| Auto Cashout | Cashes the full bet out automatically at a multiplier you set in advance |
| 50% Auto Cashout | Cashes half the bet out automatically at a preset multiplier |
The half cash-out is the most interesting of these. It splits one bet into a part you have already won and a part still in the round, so you can bank something early and keep a stake running towards a higher multiplier. If the net is lost before you cash out the remaining half, that half is lost, but the first half stays paid.
The automatic options matter more than they seem. A round can move faster than you react, and an auto cash-out set before the round starts removes the temptation to wait one moment longer. Set it to a level you are comfortable with and leave it. Pragmatic lists a single RTP for the game whichever tool you use; the tools only change when you leave.
Leaderboards, chat and the double button
Big Bass Crash is a social game. Every player at the table shares the same round, and the game shows that in two ways. Live leaderboards display results from the table, and a multiplayer chat runs alongside the round.
These features add atmosphere but no information that helps you. A leaderboard shows other players' results; it does not predict where the next round will crash. Every round is independent, so a run of early crashes says nothing about the next one, and neither does a run of long rounds.
The double bet button
The game also has a 2x button that doubles your bet. It is a quick way to raise the stake, and that is exactly why it needs care. Doubling after a loss to win it back is a pattern that can drain a balance fast, because the next round can crash early just as easily as the last one did.
Set your stake and your auto cash-out before you start, decide how many rounds you will play, and stick to both. If the social side of the table makes it harder to stop, our responsible gambling page has help lines and tools.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Big Bass Crash is set to pay back about C$95.50 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$4.50. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$22.50 - real sessions land far above or below that.
A 95.50% RTP and no volatility rating
Pragmatic Play gives Big Bass Crash an RTP of 95.50%. That is the average share of all wagers the game returns over a very long run. It is lower than many slots on our site, including Big Bass Bonanza, which lists 96.71%, so the house keeps a little more of each dollar here. Pragmatic shows no other RTP versions for this game.
Pragmatic gives one RTP figure for the game, not one per cash-out level. What your cash-out choices change is how your results are spread. Early exits give frequent small wins and occasional losses; late exits give rare large wins and frequent losses.
Pragmatic publishes no volatility rating for Big Bass Crash, nor for Spaceman, and we do not borrow one from other websites. The spread of your own results depends mostly on the cash-out level you choose, which is one reason a published label would say less here than it does for a slot.
As always, the casino's version of the game is the one that counts. Open its rules and read the RTP line before you play for money. Our RTP versions guide shows where to look.
Playing the Big Bass Crash demo
The demo on this page is Pragmatic Play's own version. It shows a balance in euros even though the link asks for Canadian dollars, and the demo table takes bets from €1 to €100. It runs in the browser with no account and no deposit.
Because the game is shared, the demo round runs on its own timer whether or not you bet. Use that to watch a few rounds before placing anything:
- Note how varied the crash points are from one round to the next.
- Try a full cash-out at a low multiplier, then a half cash-out, and compare.
- Set an auto cash-out and let it run for a series of rounds.
Demo winnings are play money and cannot be withdrawn. The demo is good at showing the pace of the game, and that pace is worth keeping in mind when you set a budget for real play.

Big Bass Crash, Spaceman and Aviator
Big Bass Crash is one of several crash games on our site. Here is how its published figures compare with two others:
| Game | Provider | RTP | Top payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| Big Bass Crash | Pragmatic Play | 95.50% | 5,000x, or €500,000 per bet |
| Spaceman | Pragmatic Play | 95% | 5,000x, or €500,000 per bet |
| Aviator | Spribe | 97% | No multiplier cap published; demo caps a win at CA$10,000 per bet |
Spaceman is the closest relative: the same studio, the same 5,000x top payout and a slightly lower RTP. Aviator lists the highest RTP of the three and allows two bets per round. Big Bass Crash sits between them on RTP. Spaceman also has a 50% auto cash-out, but only Big Bass Crash lists a manual half cash-out as well.
Do not confuse it with the Big Bass slots. Big Bass Bonanza and the rest of that series are reel slots; only the theme is shared. If you want the fisherman with reels, start with Big Bass Bonanza. If you want the crash format, the choice between these three comes down to RTP, the cash-out tools each offers and which theme you prefer, since the core of every round is the same decision to leave in time.
Big Bass Crash questions
You place a bet before the round. A multiplier rises while the fisherman fishes, and you can cash out at any moment at the multiplier shown. If he loses his net before you cash out, the bet is lost. Every player shares the same round.
Pragmatic Play lists 95.50%, with no other versions shown. It is one figure for the game, not one per cash-out level. Check the rules screen at your casino to confirm the version it runs.
Payouts range from 1.01x to 5,000x the stake. The game's rules also cap the payout per bet at €500,000, and whichever limit is reached first applies. The top multiplier is a ceiling, not something to expect.
No. It shares the fisherman theme of Pragmatic Play's Big Bass slots, but it is a crash game with a shared multiplier round, no reels and no free spins. The result of each bet depends on when you cash out.
Yes. The demo on this page is Pragmatic Play's own play-money version. It shows a balance in euros and takes demo bets from €1 to €100. No account or deposit is needed, and demo winnings cannot be withdrawn.
