Verdict
A dense, mechanical cluster slot where every win feeds the next feature, all inside a single round. The Fluctometer, Quantumeter and Wild Pair Explosion keep the base game busy without any bonus round. The 96.20% RTP and 5,083x cap are published; volatility is not, and casinos can run a lower RTP version that the provider does not list publicly.
Best for: Players who enjoy cascades and chain reactions more than waiting for a free spins trigger.
Skip if: You want free spins, a bonus buy or a simple screen you can read at a glance.

Reactoonz 2 is Play'n GO's October 2020 sequel to its alien cluster slot. It plays on a 7x7 grid where groups of five or more matching symbols, touching up, down or sideways, pay and then disappear so new ones can drop in. There are no free spins and no bonus buy. Instead, two meters charge up during each round and release wilds, up to a 3x3 Gargantoon that splits apart as it goes.
Play'n GO's game help lists a 96.20% RTP and the in-game paytable a maximum win of 5,083x the bet. No volatility rating is published. This review explains each feature in order, shows how the Quantumeter levels add up, and covers what to check when you choose a Reactoonz 2 casino. All figures date from a check on 28 October 2026.

A slot that keeps everything in one round
Most of what makes Reactoonz 2 distinctive comes from one design choice: there is no separate bonus game. Every feature charges, triggers and pays inside the round you are already playing, and the round keeps going for as long as the cascades keep producing wins.
Here is the order things happen in:
- Clusters pay. Five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically form a winning cluster.
- Cascades follow. Winning clusters are removed and new symbols fall into the gaps. That repeats until no new wins appear.
- The Fluctometer works on one symbol. Each round, one type of one-eyed alien is chosen at random to fluctuate. Its wins create wilds and charge a meter.
- The Quantumeter charges from wild hits. Symbols removed by Electric Wilds feed it, and each level drops a larger wild feature.
- Leftover wilds explode. If two or more Electric Wilds remain when everything else is done, they clear the grid.
Because the Quantumeter resets at the start of each new round, progress never carries over. A round either builds into something or it does not. That sets it apart from slots that save their features for free spins, and a round can end after a single cascade.
Casinos
Where to play Reactoonz 2
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Play'n GO; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Finding a Reactoonz 2 casino in Canada
The casinos listed above publish provider lists that include Play'n GO. That makes the title likely, but each operator chooses its own games, so search the lobby for Reactoonz 2 before you deposit. Our Play'n GO page groups every casino we cover that lists the studio.
When you compare Reactoonz 2 casinos, check three things:
- The licence for your province. In Ontario, the site should be AGCO-registered and hold an iGaming Ontario agreement. In Alberta, look for AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement; that market opened on 13 July 2026. Every other province licenses only its own government site, and no offshore casino holds a provincial licence.
- The RTP in the info screen. The 96.20% figure comes from Play'n GO's game help for one jurisdiction. Play'n GO does not publish its lower versions, so a casino may run one without it showing anywhere except the game's own info screen.
- The bet range. The demo runs from 0.20 to 100 in its demo currency. Real casinos set their own limits.
Players must be 19 or older to bet real money, except in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, where the minimum is 18. Our cluster pays slots page lists other grid games if Reactoonz 2 is not in your casino's lobby.
The free demo
The demo above is Play'n GO's own practice build. Our 28 October 2026 check found that it loads, displays the grid and paytable, and plays a spin. It counts in a generic demo currency rather than Canadian dollars, and access from Canada is untested.
Features
How Reactoonz 2 plays
Base game and bonus features as the provider's rules describe them.
- Cascades winning clusters are removed and new symbols drop in until no wins remain.
- Fluctometer a random one-eyed symbol type fluctuates each round; a winning fluctuating cluster leaves one Electric Wild, and the meter (11 charges) creates 1-3 Electric Wilds when full.
- Quantumeter non-wild symbols removed by Electric Wilds charge it (55 / 85 / 110 / 135 charges for levels 1-4); resets each new round.
- Energoon Wilds below level 3: level 1 drops four 1x1 Energoon Wilds (cost 55 charges), level 2 a single 2x2 Energoon Wild (cost 30 charges).
- Gargantoon Wilds level 3 drops a 3x3 Gargantoon Wild that splits into two 2x2 and then nine 1x1 Gargantoon Wilds; level 4 adds a single x2 multiplier to wins including Gargantoon Wilds.
- Wild Pair Explosion with 2+ Electric Wilds left after all features, an adjacent pair clears every non-wild symbol; a non-adjacent pair clears the symbols between and around them. Removed symbols do not pay but charge the Quantumeter.
- Uncharged Wilds can drop on any cascade; they do not win but become Electric Wilds next to a winning cluster or in a Wild Pair Explosion.

The symbols and what clusters pay
The grid holds eight paying aliens. Four are two-eyed and pay most; four are one-eyed and pay least. The in-game paytable lists pays by cluster size, from 5 symbols up to 15 or more, as multiples of the bet.
| Symbol | Cluster of 5 | Cluster of 10+ | Cluster of 15+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pink two-eyed alien | 1x | 20x | 500x |
| Green two-eyed alien | 0.80x | 10x | 200x |
| Orange horned two-eyed alien | 0.60x | 5x | 100x |
| Blue two-eyed alien | 0.50x | 3x | 60x |
| Purple or red one-eye | 0.15x | 1x | 10x |
| Green or yellow one-eye | 0.10x | 0.80x | 3x |
The gap between a cluster of 5 and a cluster of 15 is the whole story of this slot. A five-symbol cluster pays at most 1x the bet, and the large payouts come from big clusters of the top symbols, which is exactly what the wild features are there to build. A 15-symbol cluster of the pink alien pays 500x on its own.
The one-eyed aliens matter in another way: one of them is picked each round as the fluctuating symbol, so a low-paying cluster can still start the most useful chain in the game.
The Fluctometer: one symbol, one meter
At the start of each round, one type of one-eyed alien is chosen at random to fluctuate. When that symbol forms a winning cluster, two things happen. The cluster leaves a single Electric Wild behind in the grid, and the Fluctometer gains charge.
The Fluctometer holds 11 charges. When it fills, it creates between one and three Electric Wilds on the grid.
Electric Wilds are the engine of the game:
- they substitute for every paying symbol, so they join clusters of any colour;
- symbols they help remove charge the Quantumeter;
- any left over at the end can trigger a Wild Pair Explosion.
In other words, the fluctuating symbol is how a round turns from ordinary into busy. A win with any other symbol pays and cascades. A win with the fluctuating symbol does that and also plants a wild for the next cascade. Watching which alien is fluctuating in a given round tells you where the action is likely to start.
The Quantumeter, level by level
The second meter, the Quantumeter, counts non-wild symbols removed by Electric Wilds. It has four levels, and each one releases a feature. It resets at the start of every new round.
| Level | Charges needed | What it drops |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 55 | Four 1x1 Energoon Wilds |
| 2 | 85 | One 2x2 Energoon Wild |
| 3 | 110 | One 3x3 Gargantoon Wild |
| 4 | 135 | Wins with Gargantoon Wilds get a single x2 multiplier |
The rules also list a charge cost for the two Energoon features below level 3: 55 charges for the level 1 drop and 30 for the level 2 drop.
The Gargantoon at level 3 is the largest wild in the game. It drops as one 3x3 wild, then splits into two 2x2 Gargantoon Wilds, and then into nine 1x1 Gargantoon Wilds. Each stage substitutes for all symbols, so a single Gargantoon can take part in several cascades in a row. Reach level 4 and wins that include Gargantoon Wilds are doubled once.
These higher levels hold the biggest wild features in the game. They are also the slowest to build, since a round has to keep cascading for the meter to reach 110 charges before it resets.
Wild Pair Explosion and Uncharged Wilds
Two more rules finish off the round.
Wild Pair Explosion
When every other feature has finished and at least two Electric Wilds are still on the grid, they explode in pairs. An adjacent pair clears every non-wild symbol on the grid. A pair that is not adjacent clears the symbols between and around the two wilds. The removed symbols do not pay, but they do charge the Quantumeter, so an explosion can push the meter up to its next level and keep the round going.
Uncharged Wilds
Uncharged Wilds can drop in on any cascade. On their own they win nothing. They switch on when a winning cluster forms next to them, or when a Wild Pair Explosion hits them, and then they become Electric Wilds with all the powers above.
Together these two rules explain why some rounds seem to run on and on. A leftover pair of wilds clears space, the meter rises, more symbols fall, and dormant wilds wake up. None of it is guaranteed, and a round can just as easily end after one small cluster.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Reactoonz 2 is set to pay back about C$96.20 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.80. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$19.00 - real sessions land far above or below that.
RTP, the 5,083x cap and the missing volatility rating
The 96.20% RTP means that over a very long run, Reactoonz 2 pays back about C$96.20 of every C$100 wagered. Play'n GO's main game page does not show the figure; it comes from the studio's own game help, for the Malta jurisdiction. Casinos may run a lower version, so check the game's info screen at your casino.
The maximum win is 5,083x the bet, stated on the last page of the in-game paytable. Using the demo's own range, that is 1,016.6 at the 0.20 minimum and 508,300 at the 100 maximum, in demo currency. In a real casino the same multiple applies to whatever you stake in dollars.
Play'n GO publishes no volatility rating for this game, not on its site, in the help or in the paytable. We will not invent one, which is why the volatility score above is zero. What the rules do show is where the return sits: a five-symbol cluster pays at most 1x the bet, while the large wins depend on the Quantumeter reaching its higher levels. Plan your budget with that in mind, and read our volatility guide for how to size a session when the rating is unknown.

Reactoonz 2 and the rest of the series
Reactoonz 2 is one game in a family of alien grid slots from Play'n GO. The original Reactoonz has its own page with its own figures. The sequel's own feature set is the one described above: the Fluctometer, the four-level Quantumeter with Energoon and Gargantoon Wilds, the Wild Pair Explosion and Uncharged Wilds. Compare the two on their published numbers rather than on memory, because each has its own RTP and cap.
Related titles from the studio include Reactoonz 100, Reactoonz Blitzways, Gigantoonz, Energoonz and Dr. Toonz, each a separate game with its own rules. If the version you find in a lobby looks different from the screenshots you expect, check the title in the game info before you play. The name on the tile and the name in the info screen should both read Reactoonz 2. Our Play'n GO page lists the studio's other games we review, and the cluster pays hub collects grid slots from other studios too.
Reactoonz 2 questions
Play'n GO's game help lists 96.20% for the Malta jurisdiction. The studio does not publish its lower versions, so a casino may run one. The info screen inside the game shows the version at your casino; check it before you play for money.
5,083x the bet, according to the in-game paytable. The rules do not say which feature produces it. The largest wild features are the 3x3 Gargantoon Wild at Quantumeter level 3 and the x2 multiplier on Gargantoon wins at level 4.
Neither. Every feature happens inside the regular round: cascades, the Fluctometer, the Quantumeter levels, the Wild Pair Explosion and Uncharged Wilds. There is no feature to buy, so the only way to reach the big wild features is to play rounds and let the meters charge.
Start with a casino licensed for your province that lists Play'n GO, then search the lobby for the title. Check the RTP in the game's info screen, since casinos can run a lower version. Players under 19 cannot bet, or under 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Yes. Play'n GO's practice build is embedded above and counts in a generic demo currency. It needs no account and pays nothing real. It loaded and played a spin when checked from outside Canada on 28 October 2026; access from inside Canada is unchecked.
Play'n GO does not publish a volatility rating for it. The paytable shows that a five-symbol cluster pays at most 1x the bet and the big wins depend on the Quantumeter's higher levels, but we do not assign a rating the provider has not given.
