The "1000" in the name matches the top multiplier value, 1,000x. The original Starlight Princess sits in the same family, along with a Super Scatter version, but the 1000 edition is the one built around the larger multipliers.

A 96.50% RTP is the long-run share of stakes the game pays back, across a very large number of spins. On a high-volatility slot, short sessions often land far from it, in both directions. The RTP gap between the standard game and the buy is 0.01 points, which makes no practical difference; the choice between them is about how you want to spend your budget, not about return. Where to play Starlight Princess 1000 in Canada

The game comes straight from Pragmatic Play, so any casino with a Pragmatic deal can offer it. By published provider lists, that covers 83 casinos in our listings. Our most recent dated sighting of this exact title is at Lucky Days, which showed it on its Canadian homepage on 23 October 2026. Lucky Days also runs separate Ontario and Alberta sites.

Brands with Ontario- or Alberta-registered sites that name Pragmatic Play as a provider include Jackpot City Casino, Spin Casino, LeoVegas and PlayOJO. None of those regulated lobbies has given us a dated record of this game, and a brand's Ontario or Alberta catalogue is not always a copy of its offshore one. Search for the title inside the exact lobby you would use before signing up.

The rules by province:

• Ontario: the AGCO registers online casinos, and each needs an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario. OLG.ca is the provincial site.
• Alberta: the private market opened on 13 July 2026 for sites holding AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement.
• Elsewhere: each province's own government-run site is the regulated route.

No province licenses the offshore sites that take Canadian sign-ups, and self-excluding in your province blocks you only from the sites that province regulates. Scatter pays, tumbles and the paytable

There are no paylines. After each spin, the game counts each symbol across all 30 positions, and any symbol that appears eight or more times pays. Then the tumble starts: winning symbols disappear, the ones above fall into the gaps, new symbols drop in from the top, and the game checks again. Tumbles continue for as long as new wins form, with no limit.

Pays are multiples of the total bet, by how many of the symbol are on screen:

The princess is the scatter. Four or more trigger free spins, and she also pays on her own: 3x for four, 5x for five and 100x for six.

Two things stand out in that table. The four crests carry most of the value. Eight or nine of the red heart gem only returns the stake, and eight or nine of any gem below it pays less than the spin cost, which is why the multipliers matter so much.

Ante Bet, bonus buy and the ceiling in dollars

Two options change how you reach free spins, and they cannot be used together.

Ante Bet. For 1.25x the stake per spin, the chance of triggering free spins doubles. The published RTP stays at 96.50%. Turning it on disables the bonus buy.

Buy free spins. For 100x the stake, the round starts at once. The published RTP is 96.49%.

At the demo's lowest and highest stakes, those multiples work out as follows:

The Ante Bet is the cheaper way to see more bonuses: a 25% higher cost per spin for twice the trigger chance, at the same RTP. The buy is faster but concentrates a large stake on a single bonus whose result is highly uncertain. On a high-volatility game, several bought bonuses in a row can each return less than they cost.

How it compares with Pragmatic's other 1000 games

Starlight Princess 1000 is one of Pragmatic's "1000" editions of its scatter-pays games. Two others have pages here:

On the published figures, this game and Gates of Olympus 1000 are near twins: same volatility label, same ceiling, same RTP. Sweet Bonanza 1000 has a lower volatility label but a higher ceiling, so it pairs a bigger top prize with a calmer label. Between this game and Gates of Olympus 1000 the published numbers match, and the choice comes down to theme and symbols; Sweet Bonanza 1000 differs on the risk profile itself. The original Gates of Olympus is a useful reference too: medium volatility and a 5,000x ceiling, at the same 96.50% RTP.

Multiplier symbols in the base game and free spins

Multiplier symbols can land on any spin, in the base game as well as in free spins, with values from 2x up to 1,000x. During a tumble sequence, every multiplier that lands is added together, and the combined figure multiplies that sequence's win. Two multipliers of 5x and 10x in the same sequence give 15x, not 50x.

In the base game, a multiplier only matters if the sequence it lands in also produces a win. A big multiplier on a spin with no win pays nothing.

Free spins change that. Four or more princess scatters award 15 free spins, and landing three or more scatters during the round adds 5 more. The key feature is the progressive multiplier: in free spins, every multiplier that contributes to a win is added to a running total, and that total applies to wins for the rest of the round. A multiplier that helped one win keeps helping on every winning spin after it.

This is the main engine of the game's ceiling. Early multipliers in a bonus build a total that lifts every later win; a bonus where multipliers arrive late, or land without wins, can end with very little. That spread of outcomes fits the high volatility label.

A few things to try in the demo:

• Play a long run of standard spins and note how many pass between bonuses. That gap is what high volatility feels like.
• Switch the Ante Bet on and compare. The cost per spin rises by a quarter.
• If the international version is loaded, try a bought bonus and watch how much depends on when the first multipliers arrive.
• Watch for base-game multipliers that land without a win. They show why a 1,000x symbol on screen does not always mean a big payout.
