Verdict
A faithful dice copy of Sweet Bonanza: the same tumbling scatter pays, the same 2x-100x free-spins multipliers and a stated top win of over 21,100x. The RTP runs from 96.49% to 96.60% depending on how you play. The weak point is availability - it was made for dice-only markets, and we found no Canadian lobby that lists it.
Best for: Fans of Sweet Bonanza who like the dice look and can find it in their casino's lobby.
Skip if: You want something new to learn - the rules and paytable match the original game.

What we like
- Top win stated as over 21,100x the stake
- Free-spins multipliers from 2x to 100x, added together within a tumble sequence
- RTP between 96.49% and 96.60% across the three ways to play
- Free demo in Canadian dollars with the buy and ante options
Watch out for
- No English page from the provider and no confirmed Canadian casino listing
- Identical maths to Sweet Bonanza, so little new to discover
- Buy Free Spins costs 100x and is off whenever the ante bet is on
Sweet Bonanza Dice takes Pragmatic Play's well-known candy game and swaps each fruit and sweet for a coloured die. The grid is still six reels by five rows, eight or more matching symbols anywhere on screen still win, and the free spins still carry multipliers of up to 100x.
The interesting part is why it exists. Pragmatic built its dice slots for markets whose rules require dice-based games, and Sweet Bonanza Dice was live with a Belgian casino by July 2023. That history matters if you are in Canada: the provider has no English page for it, and we could not confirm that any Canadian casino lists it. This page covers the rules, the three RTP figures, the costs in dollars and how to check a lobby.

A dice slot made for dice-only markets
Pragmatic Play did not make this game for Canada. Its news post about launching dice slots with Peppermill Casino in Belgium describes them as titles for markets that require dice-based games, and mentions signings in Peru and Austria in the same context. Sweet Bonanza Dice was live there by 17 July 2023. The provider's game page carries a later publication date, so the exact launch month is not on record.
Look at the rules and you find a re-skin rather than a new design. Compared with the original Sweet Bonanza, the dice version has:
- the same paytable, with every payout matching symbol for symbol;
- the same scatter-pays system, where eight or more of a kind anywhere on the grid win;
- the same free spins, ante bet and 100x buy;
- the same low volatility label in the game and the same "win over 21,100x bet" line on the intro screen.
Only the art changes. A red die with a white heart takes the top spot, followed by dice with crescent moons, stars and diamond pips, then five fruit dice. The scatter is a candy mallet and the multiplier is a jester girl. Those descriptions are ours; the game itself does not name its dice.
Why the provider page looks odd
If you go looking for the official page, the English address forwards to an Indonesian one, whose canonical points to Pragmatic's Asian site. It exists only in Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese. That page gives the RTP as 96.49% and the top win as more than 21,000x, slightly below the figure the game itself shows.
Casinos
Where to play Sweet Bonanza Dice
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Pragmatic Play; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Can you play it at a Canadian casino?
The honest answer is: perhaps, but we could not confirm a single Canadian lobby that lists it by name. The list above is built from casinos whose provider lists include Pragmatic Play. That tells you the casino offers the studio's games, not that it chose this particular title, and dice slots were made with other markets in mind.
How to check before you deposit:
- Search the lobby for "Sweet Bonanza Dice", not just "Sweet Bonanza", or the original and its other versions may fill the results.
- Open the game and check its info screen for the RTP and the 21,100x line.
- If it is not there, contact the casino's support. Do not deposit on the hope that it will be added.
Which sites are legal where you live
In Ontario, use only sites registered with the AGCO that operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario; the minimum age is 19. Alberta's regulated market has been open since 13 July 2026, with operators registered by the AGLC and contracted with the Alberta iGaming Corporation, and you must be 18. Elsewhere the legal option is the province's own site, and offshore casinos are not licensed by any province. Manitoba and Quebec set the age at 18, the other provinces at 19. Our guide to legal online casinos covers each province.
Features
How Sweet Bonanza Dice plays
Base game and bonus features as the provider's rules describe them.
- Tumble winning symbols vanish and new ones fall in until no new wins; no limit to the number of tumbles.
- Free spins 4+ scatters award 10 free spins; 3+ scatters during the round add 5 more. Special reels in play.
- Multiplier symbol free spins only: takes a random value from 2x to 100x, stays until the tumble sequence ends; all values on screen are added and multiply the sequence win.
- Ante bet bet multiplier 25x (1.25x stake) doubles the chance to trigger free spins and disables the buy.
- Buy free spins 100x base bet (bet multiplier 20x only; not offered in the UK build).

| Magenta die with six small fruits | 12+ 2x, 10-11 0.75x, 8-9 0.25x |
| Scatter (candy mallet) | 6: 100x, 5: 5x, 4: 3x; pays anywhere, appears on all reels; 4+ trigger free spins |

How wins form on a grid of dice
There are no paylines. After each spin the game counts how many of each die are visible anywhere on the 30 positions. Eight or more of the same die is a win, and the payout depends on which band you reach:
- 8 or 9 of a kind: the lowest band, for example 10x the total bet for the red heart die;
- 10 or 11 of a kind: the middle band, 25x for the same die;
- 12 or more: the top band, 50x for the red heart die and 2x for the lowest fruit die.
Winning dice then vanish and new ones fall into the gaps. That is the tumble, and it repeats until a drop produces no new win. The rules set no limit on the number of tumbles, so one paid spin can turn into a chain of smaller wins.
The scatter pays on its own
The candy mallet can land on any reel and pays wherever it sits: 3x the bet for four, 5x for five and 100x for six. Four or more also start the free spins, which is where the game keeps most of its upside. Apart from the scatter, nothing on the grid pays below eight of a kind, so a low volatility label does not mean every spin wins.
The top payouts at the minimum stake
Multiples are easier to judge in money. At the demo's smallest bet of C$0.20, the paytable in the rules works out like this for the highest-paying symbols:
| Symbol | 12 or more | 10 or 11 | 8 or 9 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red die with white heart | C$10.00 | C$5.00 | C$2.00 |
| Purple die with crescent moons | C$5.00 | C$2.00 | C$0.50 |
| Green die with three stars | C$3.00 | C$1.00 | C$0.40 |
| Magenta die with six small fruits | C$0.40 | C$0.15 | C$0.05 |
Six scatters at the same stake pay C$20 on top of starting free spins. Depending on the band, the red heart die pays 25 to 40 times as much as the magenta fruit die, so which dice form the cluster matters as much as how many land. Scale every figure in line with your own bet: at C$2, ten times the minimum, each amount is ten times larger. The full paytable, with all nine dice and the scatter, is in the table above and in the rules screen of the demo.
Free spins: where the jester multipliers come in
Four or more scatters give 10 free spins. During the round, three or more scatters add five more, and there is no published cap on how often that can happen. The rules add that special reels are in play during the feature.
The multiplier symbol only appears in free spins. Each one takes a random value from this set, read from the game's own configuration:
2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x or 100x
A multiplier stays on screen while the tumbles keep going. When the sequence ends, every multiplier visible is added together, and the total multiplies the win from that whole tumble sequence. Two symbols showing 5x and 20x make a 25x multiplier, not 100x. If a sequence lands multipliers but no win, they pay nothing.
How the top figure is reached
The 21,100x line on the intro screen is the game's own statement of its top win. Reaching it needs large clusters and big multipliers landing together, so treat it as the ceiling, not a target. Pragmatic does not publish the odds of reaching it. Our max win odds guide explains what a stated top win does and does not tell you.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Sweet Bonanza Dice is set to pay back about C$96.49 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.51. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$17.55 - real sessions land far above or below that.
The same game also exists at 96.51%, 96.60%, 96.49%. A lower version costs more per C$100 wagered, and the casino - not you - picks which one runs.
Low volatility: frequent small wins, the balance moves slowly. The cap is 21,100x: C$21,100 on a C$1 spin.
Three RTP figures and what the extras cost
The game publishes different returns for different ways to play. The provider page uses 96.49%, the lowest of the three, which is also the ante figure. The base-bet figure from the game server is 96.51%, and buying free spins returns 96.60%, the highest. The casino can still choose a different build, so read the info screen inside the game.
The demo's limits run from C$0.20 to C$240 on the base bet, or C$300 with the ante on. Here is what each option costs at both ends, using only those limits and the multiples in the rules.
| Option | RTP | At C$0.20 | At C$240 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Normal spin | 96.51% | C$0.20 | C$240 |
| Ante bet spin (1.25x) | 96.49% | C$0.25 | C$300 |
| Buy free spins (100x) | 96.60% | C$20 | C$24,000 |
The ante bet doubles the chance of triggering free spins, but it also disables the buy, and its RTP is the lowest of the three. In the demo build we checked, a C$2 bet showed the buy at C$200 and the ante spin at C$2.50, which matches the multiples above. The UK build of the game has no buy at all, so a casino's version may not either. Before you buy with bonus money, read the bonus buy guide and your own bonus terms.

Dice version or the original?
Since the maths is identical, the choice comes down to two practical questions: which one your casino actually carries, and whether you prefer the look of dice over fruit. If your lobby has both, nothing in the published rules makes one pay differently from the other. If it has only the original, Sweet Bonanza follows the same published rules - just check its RTP build in the info screen.
The wider family is where the real differences sit. Sweet Bonanza 1000 and Sweet Bonanza 2500 are separate games with their own figures, and so is Sweet Bonanza Xmas. Pragmatic also made other dice titles, such as The Dog House Dice. Check each game's page for its own RTP and cap rather than assuming they match.
For players who enjoy cascading wins in general, our cluster pays slots page groups games that pay on clusters rather than lines, and the Pragmatic Play page lists everything we cover from the studio.
Getting the most from the Sweet Bonanza Dice demo
The free version is Pragmatic Play's own and runs with a play-money balance in Canadian dollars. No account or deposit is needed, and the rules screen inside it is the full rulebook. That makes it a good place to answer the questions the paytable cannot.
- How often do you see eight or more of one die? Watch fifty spins and count.
- How long does a tumble chain usually last before it stops?
- In free spins, how many multipliers land in a sequence that also wins?
- Does the ante's doubled chance of free spins feel worth 25% more per spin to you?
A demo cannot show you how a real balance behaves over months, and demo results are not a forecast. Low volatility still means losing streaks; the house edge is built into every spin. Set a budget and a time limit before you switch to real money, and see our responsible gambling page for the tools Canadian sites offer. More free games are on our free slots page.
Sweet Bonanza Dice questions
In maths, yes. The in-game rules show an identical paytable, the same scatter pays, free spins, ante bet and 100x buy, and the same 21,100x top-win line. Only the art changes: fruit and sweets become coloured dice. Pragmatic Play built the dice version for markets that require dice-based games.
The provider page gives 96.49%, which is also the figure with the ante bet on. The base-bet build returns 96.51%, and buying free spins returns 96.60%. A casino may run a different version, so check the info screen inside the game before you play.
Yes. The demo comes from Pragmatic Play itself, uses a play-money balance in C$ and asks for no registration. It shows the full rules, the ante toggle and, in the build we checked, the buy option. Demo wins are not real and do not predict real-money results.
We could not confirm that any Canadian casino lists it by name as of October 2026. Several casinos carry Pragmatic Play games, but the dice titles were made for other markets. Search the lobby for the full name and check the info screen before you deposit.
Each multiplier symbol takes a value between 2x and 100x and stays until the tumble sequence ends. All multipliers on screen are then added together, and the total multiplies the win from that sequence. They appear only in free spins and pay nothing without a win.
