Verdict
Chaos Crew 2 is built for players who accept long dry runs in exchange for a 20,000x ceiling. Hacksaw rates it 5 out of 5 for volatility, and the bonus rounds pay from stacked reel multipliers rather than line wins. The default 96.27% RTP is fair, but three lower versions exist, down to 88.28%, so check the info screen at your casino before you play.
Best for: Players who like bonus-round slots with heavy multipliers and can sit through long stretches with no feature.
Skip if: You want steady small wins, or your casino runs one of the lower RTP versions such as 88.28%.

The Chaos Crew 2 demo: free play in Canadian dollars
The Chaos Crew 2 demo at the top of this page is Hacksaw's own build, not a copy. When checked on 28 October 2026, it was priced in CAD with C$5,000 of play money, and the paytable and the Bonus Buy menu both loaded. The bet range in the demo runs from C$0.10 to C$2,000 a spin; feature buys can cost more than that. A real-money casino can set a lower top limit, so treat the demo range as the game's own range, not a promise.
The demo is the cheapest way to learn this game, because its swings are hard to judge from a paytable. A few things worth trying in the Chaos Crew 2 demo slot before any deposit:
- Open the Bonus Buy menu and read the price of each option at your usual stake.
- Watch how often a Cranky Cat lands in the base game, and how small most line wins are.
- Buy one Bonus with play money to see how the reel multipliers build and how the lives counter works.
- Check the RTP line in the game rules, so you know what the default build shows.
Demo credits are not money and cannot be cashed out. The Chaos Crew 2 free slot version runs on the demo server's own jurisdiction setting, which may not match your casino's, so the buy menu or limits can look different once you play for real. See our free slots page for other demos you can open without an account.
Casinos
Where to play Chaos Crew 2
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Hacksaw Gaming; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Chaos Crew 2 casinos open to Canadians
We list a casino under "Where to play" when its own published provider list names Hacksaw Gaming. A provider list is not a guarantee that this exact title is in the lobby, and casinos rarely say which RTP version they run, so treat the list as a starting point. Among the Chaos Crew 2 online casinos we cover, these name Hacksaw on their own sites:
- Jackpot City Casino - its offshore Canadian site lists Hacksaw Gaming next to Games Global and Pragmatic Play (archived copy of 10 August 2026).
- LeoVegas - names Hacksaw among a provider list that also includes Play'n GO and Push Gaming, and says it has over 2,000 slots.
- Casino Days - lists Hacksaw with Nolimit City and Relax Gaming.
- Pinnacle and Wildz Casino - both include Hacksaw in their provider lists.
Where you live decides which site you can legally use. Ontario allows real-money play only at AGCO-registered sites that operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario. Alberta's regulated market, run through AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement, opened on 13 July 2026. Every other province has its own provincially run site, and offshore sites hold no provincial licence. You must be 19 or older, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. The full list of Chaos Crew 2 casinos sits above, and all casinos with Hacksaw Gaming games are on the provider page.

Cranky Cat, Sketchy Skull and the reel multipliers
Two characters do almost all the work. In the base game the Cranky Cat is a wild that carries a multiplier of x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20. Only one can land per reel, but when two or more Cats are part of the same line win their multipliers are multiplied together, not added. Five wilds on a line pay 20x the bet on their own, the highest regular pay in the table.
The bonus rounds play by different rules. There are no line wins to chase; instead each reel carries its own multiplier, starting at 1x. You get three lives, and every multiplier symbol that lands refills them to three. When the lives run out, all reel multipliers are added up and the total is multiplied by your bet. Two symbols drive the totals:
- Sketchy Skull adds anything from 1x to 100x to the multiplier of its reel.
- Cranky Cat multiplies its reel's multiplier by x2 to x20, so it is worth most on a reel that is already high.
Both come in Sticky versions (they act again on every spin), Epic versions (they act on all reels at once) and Epic Sticky versions that do both. The order matters: a Skull that builds a reel up followed by a Cat that multiplies it is what produces the big totals. Outside the bonus, an Epic Drop can fire at random at the start of a base-game spin, giving one Bonus-style spin with at least five multiplier symbols.
Six ways into the bonus, priced at a C$2 bet
Three BONUS! scatters start the Bonus, four start the Super Bonus, which guarantees at least seven multiplier symbols on its first spin. A separate BEST OF BONUS scatter, landing with three or four BONUS! scatters, turns the round into three bonus rounds in a row and pays only the best of them. You can also skip the wait and buy. The table shows each option as the in-game menu priced it at a C$2.00 bet, with the RTP and the volatility label the demo build gives that buy.
| Option | Price | At C$2.00 bet | RTP | Volatility label |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins | 5x per spin | C$10 per spin | 96.22% | Extreme |
| Bonus | 100x | C$200 | 96.34% | Very high |
| Best of Bonus | 200x | C$400 | 96.29% | High |
| Epic Drop FeatureSpins | 200x per spin | C$400 per spin | 96.35% | High |
| Super Bonus | 250x | C$500 | 96.30% | Very high |
| Best of Super Bonus | 500x | C$1,000 | 96.35% | High |
BonusHunt makes a Bonus trigger 10 times more likely for each spin you pay 5x on. Epic Drop FeatureSpins turns every spin into an Epic Drop with at least 15 multiplier symbols. Notice that the two Best of options carry a lower volatility label than the single rounds: paying for three tries and keeping the best one smooths the outcome. All buys sit close to the default RTP, but a higher price does not buy a better return, only a bigger stake on one result. Read our bonus buy slots guide before you treat any of these as routine, and expect the menu only where the casino has it switched on.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Chaos Crew 2 is set to pay back about C$96.27 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.73. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$18.65 - real sessions land far above or below that.
The same game also exists at 94.22%, 92.41%, 88.28%. A lower version costs more per C$100 wagered, and the casino - not you - picks which one runs.
Very high volatility: the top wins are rare by design - budget for long losing runs. The cap is 20,000x: C$20,000 on a C$1 spin.
Four RTP versions and what they cost you
Hacksaw publishes four RTP settings for Chaos Crew 2: 96.27%, 94.22%, 92.41% and 88.28%. The demo on this page runs the 96.27% build, and so does the paytable footer we read. Your casino chooses which of the four it installs, and the choice is not shown in the lobby tile. The only reliable check is the game's own info or rules screen once it is open on the casino's site.
The gap between the top and bottom settings is large. Over a long run, the 96.27% build keeps 3.73% of everything wagered, while the 88.28% build keeps 11.72%, more than three times as much. The symbols, the features and the 20,000x cap are the same in every version. What changes is the long-run return, which you will not notice in a single session but which adds up over many.
Hacksaw's 5 out of 5 volatility rating makes the version harder to spot by feel. A game this swingy can run cold for hundreds of spins on the best setting and hot on the worst. If the rules screen shows anything below 96.27%, you are paying more for the same game. Our RTP versions guide explains why one title exists at several settings, and the high-volatility slots list collects other games with a similar risk profile.

How it compares with Chaos Crew and Chaos Crew 3
Chaos Crew 2 sits in the middle of a three-game series, and the numbers show how Hacksaw has pushed the ceiling with each release.
| Game | Paylines | Default RTP | Max win |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chaos Crew | 15 | 96.30% | 10,000x |
| Chaos Crew 2 | 19 | 96.27% | 20,000x |
| Chaos Crew 3 (Sept 2025) | 19 | 96.18% | 30,000x |
All three use a 5x5 grid and carry Hacksaw's 5 out of 5 volatility rating. The sequel added four paylines over the original and doubled its cap. The third game keeps the 19-line layout and raises the cap by another 10,000x, at a slightly lower default RTP.
Which one fits depends on what you are after. The original has the smallest ceiling and the highest default RTP of the three. Chaos Crew 2 gives the widest set of buy options. Chaos Crew 3 has the biggest top prize. None of them is a gentle slot, and the same rule applies to all: check the RTP version at your casino, because each title also exists in lower settings.
Playing Chaos Crew 2 with a budget
A slot rated 5 out of 5 for volatility needs a plan before the first spin, not after a losing run. Most of the return in Chaos Crew 2 is concentrated in the bonus rounds, and a bonus can end with a small total if the reels do not build. Line wins in the base game are modest: five eye pyramids, the top regular symbol, pay 10x the bet, and the five graffiti low symbols pay 2x for five of a kind.
Some habits that help:
- Settle on a dollar budget for the session and size the stake so it covers hundreds of spins rather than dozens.
- Decide in advance whether you will buy a bonus at all, and at what price. At a C$2 stake the cheapest single Bonus costs C$200.
- Set deposit and loss limits in your casino account wherever the site offers them.
- Stop at the limit you set, whether the session is up or down.
Remember that the house edge applies to every spin and every buy, whatever the recent results. If play stops feeling like entertainment, our responsible gambling page lists the provincial help lines and self-exclusion tools.
Chaos Crew 2 questions
Yes. The demo on this page is Hacksaw Gaming's own build and plays in Canadian dollars with a C$5,000 play balance when we checked it on 28 October 2026. It needs no account. Demo winnings are not real money, and a casino's real-money build can have lower limits or a different RTP version.
The default is 96.27%. Hacksaw also lists 94.22%, 92.41% and 88.28% versions, and the casino decides which one it runs. Open the game's rules or info screen on the casino's site to see the figure that applies to your play. The bonus buys are listed between 96.22% and 96.35% in the demo build.
Hacksaw caps it at 20,000 times the total stake and says the cap can be reached in every game mode, including the bought bonuses. That is twice the 10,000x cap of the original Chaos Crew. Reaching it is very rare; the 5 out of 5 volatility rating means most sessions end far below it.
Casinos that list Hacksaw Gaming as a provider, such as Jackpot City, LeoVegas, Casino Days, Pinnacle and Wildz, are the places to look. A provider list does not prove the title is live in every province, so search the lobby before you deposit. Ontario players are limited to AGCO-registered sites working with iGaming Ontario.
Yes, where the casino and your province allow it. The menu offers BonusHunt spins at 5x per spin, Epic Drop spins at 200x per spin, the Bonus at 100x, Best of Bonus at 200x, Super Bonus at 250x and Best of Super Bonus at 500x the bet.
