- Four buy options, each with a published RTP above the base game
- Cat wilds multiply each other on the same line
- Working demo in Canadian dollars from Hacksaw
Watch out for
- 5/5 volatility: long losing runs are part of the design
- Eight dead word tiles take up space on the grid
- Only the 96.18% setting could be confirmed; casinos may use another
Chaos Crew 3 is Hacksaw Gaming's third game in the series, launched in September 2025. It plays on 5 reels and 5 rows with 19 paylines, sits at 5 out of 5 on Hacksaw's volatility meter and caps wins at 30,000 times the stake. The default RTP is 96.18%.
The Chaos Crew 3 slot keeps the series' graffiti style, but the bonus works differently from a classic free spins round: you get three lives, multipliers build up on each reel, and the total is paid when the lives run out. This page covers the demo, every buy option with its own RTP, and the Canadian casinos whose provider lists include Hacksaw.

Where the third game fits in the series
Hacksaw's own September 2025 round-up lists the Chaos Crew 3 launch, which places it after Chaos Crew and Chaos Crew 2. Hacksaw also lists Chaos Crew Scratch under the same name, which is a separate game.
The grid is larger than a standard 5x3 slot: 25 positions and 19 paylines. Not every tile on it pays. Eight word tiles act as dead symbols, with no payout and no effect, so a busy screen often contains less than it seems.
The paying symbols
The top regular symbol is the shark, worth 2x, 5x or 10x the bet for three, four or five on a line. The stop sign and the pizza skull share the next tier, then the brain and the hand. Below those sit the graffiti letters C, H, A, O and S, which pay little on their own (0.1x to 2x) but trigger a special spin when they spell the full word across a row.
One detail worth noting: Hacksaw's game page has no data block for this title, unlike the first game. The RTP, the cap and the line count here come from the in-game rules and the provider's demo server instead.
Casinos
Where to play Chaos Crew 3
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Hacksaw Gaming; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Chaos Crew 3 online casinos in Canada
The quickest way to find Chaos Crew 3 casinos is through provider lists, and Hacksaw Gaming appears on several of the ones we cover. LeoVegas Casino, Casino Days, Wildz Casino, Lucky Days Casino and Pinnacle Casino each name the studio. So do Jackpot City Casino and Spin Casino, whose lists lead with Games Global. A provider on the list does not mean every title is in the lobby, so search for Chaos Crew 3 by name first.
Licences differ by province
These provider lists come from the brands' offshore sites, which no Canadian province licenses. In Ontario, the regulated option is a site registered with the AGCO that holds an iGaming Ontario operating agreement. Alberta added its own private market on 13 July 2026, with AGLC registration and an AiGC agreement. Elsewhere, the provincial lottery site is the regulated choice. A brand's Ontario site may be run by a different company from its offshore site, with a different game list.
Check the version, not just the name
The demo server answered only at 96.18%, and real-money casinos may run a lower setting. Open the game's info screen at your casino before you play: it shows the RTP that site has chosen. You must be 19 or older, or 18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.

| Brain | 3/4/5: 0.5/2/5x bet |
| Hand | 3/4/5: 0.5/2/5x bet |
| C, H, A, O, S (graffiti letters) | 3/4/5: 0.1/0.5/2x bet each; spelling CHAOS across a row triggers the Epic Drop |
| Cranky Cat (wild multiplier) | 5 on a line: 10x bet; substitutes and multiplies x2-x20 |

Cranky Cat multipliers and the Epic Drop
The base game has two ways to go beyond plain line wins.
Cranky Cat is the wild. It substitutes for the paying symbols and multiplies the line win by x2, x3, x4, x5, x10 or x20. If more than one cat lands on the same line, their multipliers multiply each other rather than adding up. In the base game only one cat can appear per reel, and five cats on a line pay 10x the bet on their own.
The Epic Drop starts when the five low letters spell CHAOS across a row. That earns one reward spin, during which the letters turn into Glitch Dogs that reveal Crazy Multipliers. The reel multipliers are then added up and paid as a multiple of your bet.
The two Crazy Multipliers
- Sketchy Skull adds between 1x and 100x to the multiplier of its reel. Its Epic version adds to every reel.
- Cranky Cat in this role multiplies its reel's multiplier by x2 to x20, and its Epic version applies that to all reels.
Because one adds and the other multiplies, the two together can lift a reel multiplier quickly, both in the Epic Drop and in the bonus rounds.
Three bonus rounds built on lives
Scatter symbols marked FS open the bonuses, and the number of scatters decides which one you get.
| Scatters | Bonus | How it starts |
|---|---|---|
| 3 | CTRL + ALT + CHAOS | 3 lives that refill; Crazy Multipliers and Glitch Dogs build the reel multipliers |
| 4 | The Korrupted K9 | At least 4 Crazy Multipliers and 1 Glitch Dog, plus a Chaos Upgrade symbol |
| 5 | An Epic Glitch! | The K9 rules with a full grid of Crazy Multipliers, 1 Chaos Upgrade and at least 1 Glitch Dog |
None of these is a set number of free spins. You play on three lives, which the rules describe as refilling during the round. When all lives are gone, the reel multipliers are added together and paid as a multiple of the bet.
The Chaos Upgrade symbol in the two higher rounds adds 1x to 100x to every multiplier in a 3x3 area around it, so the four-scatter round starts well ahead of the three-scatter one. The five-scatter round is Hacksaw's hidden epic bonus: it is not among the buy options, and it begins with every position already holding a Crazy Multiplier.
Bonus buys and FeatureSpins, with their own RTPs
Hacksaw offers four shortcuts, and the demo server reports a separate return and risk label for each. All of them sit slightly above the 96.18% base game.
| Option | Price | RTP | Volatility label |
|---|---|---|---|
| BonusHunt FeatureSpins | 5x bet per spin | 96.29% | Extreme |
| Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins | 200x bet per spin | 96.38% | High |
| CTRL + ALT + CHAOS | 100x bet | 96.41% | Very high |
| The Korrupted K9 | 200x bet | 96.36% | Very high |
BonusHunt spins make the bonus ten times more likely per spin. Byte Me spins cost far more, and each one comes with at least five Crazy Multipliers for the Epic Drop. The two bonus buys skip straight to the matching round.
What the prices mean
The prices are multiples of your base bet, and the demo notes that buys and FeatureSpins can push a single wager above the $2,000 base maximum. At the demo's $0.10 minimum, the 100x buy costs $10 and the 200x options cost $20. A higher RTP on a buy is a long-run average, not a promise about any single purchase, and the 'Very high' labels mean results swing widely from one buy to the next. Our bonus buy slots page explains the trade-off.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Chaos Crew 3 is set to pay back about C$96.18 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.82. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$19.10 - real sessions land far above or below that.
Very high volatility: the top wins are rare by design - budget for long losing runs. The cap is 30,000x: C$30,000 on a C$1 spin.
Chaos Crew 3 RTP and max win in context
The Chaos Crew 3 RTP of 96.18% is the only setting the demo server would return when other values were requested, and no alternative versions are published. That does not rule out lower settings at real-money casinos; it means none could be confirmed. Treat 96.18% as the best case and check the in-game info screen.
Volatility is rated 5 of 5, Hacksaw's top mark, and the Chaos Crew 3 max win is 30,000x the stake. The rules state that the cap can be reached in every game mode, including the base game. Hacksaw publishes no odds of reaching it, and at 5/5 volatility the top results are rare by design.
How to approach a 5/5 game
- Expect long stretches where only small line wins and dead tiles appear.
- Size your stake so your budget lasts through the dry runs; a bonus can take a long time to arrive.
- If you buy features, set a limit on the number of buys before you start.

Playing the Chaos Crew 3 demo
The free Chaos Crew 3 demo above is Hacksaw's own build, set to Canadian dollars. When it was checked from Madrid on 28 October 2026, the game loaded, three spins went through on the demo server and the play balance dropped from $5,000 to $4,996.20. It has not yet been tested from a Canadian connection.
The demo is the cheapest way to see how the lives work in a bonus, because you can buy the rounds with play money and watch the multipliers build. Use it to try the four buy options side by side, and to get a feel for how often the base game produces nothing at all. Demo results say nothing about what will happen with real money.
If you like the formula, the earlier Chaos Crew 2 is the closest relative, and the Hacksaw Gaming page lists the studio's other titles we cover. More free games are on our free slots page.
Who the game suits, and who should pass
Chaos Crew 3 asks a lot of patience. The grid carries dead tiles, the low symbols pay fractions of the bet, and the big moments depend on multipliers arriving together. If you enjoy that kind of tension and accept that most sessions end below where they started, the game delivers a lot of variety: two base-game extras, three bonus tiers and four ways to pay for a shortcut.
It is a poor fit for a few kinds of player:
- Small, fixed budgets. At 5 out of 5, a budget can run out well before a bonus appears.
- Players who want to follow every rule. Lives, reel multipliers, Glitch Dogs and Chaos Upgrades take a while to read; try the demo first.
- Anyone chasing losses with buys. A 100x or 200x purchase is a large single wager, and repeating it after a poor result speeds up spending.
If you want to see where the formula began, the first Chaos Crew has its own review page. Our slot rating method explains how the score above was set.
Chaos Crew 3 questions
The base game returns 96.18% according to Hacksaw's demo server, which answered at no other setting. The buy options are listed slightly higher, from 96.29% for BonusHunt FeatureSpins to 96.41% for the CTRL + ALT + CHAOS buy. Real-money casinos choose the setting, so check the info screen in the game before you play.
The cap is 30,000 times the stake, and the rules say it can be reached in every mode, including the base game. Reaching it needs very large reel multipliers, so it is extremely rare. Hacksaw rates the game 5 out of 5 for volatility.
Yes. The demo on this page is Hacksaw's own version in Canadian dollars with a $5,000 play balance. It loaded and played normally when checked on 28 October 2026. Play money cannot be withdrawn, and demo results do not predict real-money sessions.
Casinos whose provider lists include Hacksaw Gaming, such as LeoVegas, Casino Days, Wildz and Lucky Days, are the places to look, but a listed provider does not prove a single title is in the lobby. Search for the game by name, and in Ontario use only sites registered with the AGCO that operate under an agreement with iGaming Ontario.
Three, four or five FS scatters start CTRL + ALT + CHAOS, The Korrupted K9 or An Epic Glitch!. Instead of a fixed number of spins you get three lives that refill. Multipliers build on each reel, and when the lives run out their total is paid as a multiple of your bet.
Yes, where the casino allows it. CTRL + ALT + CHAOS costs 100x the bet and The Korrupted K9 costs 200x. There are also BonusHunt FeatureSpins at 5x per spin and Byte Me Epic Drop FeatureSpins at 200x per spin. The five-scatter bonus cannot be bought.
