The base game and the River Prize Feature

Between bonuses, Pond of Plinko plays like a classic line slot. Twenty lines, seven regular symbols and a scatter. The four face symbols carry the bigger prizes, from 5x up to 200x the bet for five of a kind, while the three pebble rings pay between 0.1x and 3x.

The base game has one extra of its own. The River Prize Feature can trigger at random after any spin. Balls drop into prize meters worth 10x, 20x, 50x, 100x, 1,000x or 10,000x the bet, and the first meter to fill pays out. It is a single prize per trigger, but the top meter alone is a third of the game's cap.

The scatter is the key symbol

Scatters can land anywhere, and three or more start the Plinko Bonus. Each scatter shows a number, and those numbers set how many pearls you take into the bonus. More pearls means more chances to fill the meters in the next stage, so the scatter numbers shape the whole round before it starts.

Scatter re-rolls, Feature Bets and the buy

When a bonus triggers, you can re-roll each scatter's number to try for more pearls. The studio states that paid re-rolls push the RTP toward the top of its range, while free re-rolls lower it. That is why the RTP is printed as 96.10% to 96.49% in the default build rather than one figure.

Inside the bonus: Enhancers and nine Plinko stages

The bonus has two parts.

The Enhancer Game comes first. Your pearls hit bumpers that fill meters, and each full meter collects one Enhancer, with a maximum of three per stage. There are six types:

• Bumper Buckets
• Golden Ball - a single ball with prizes up to 10,000x
• Extra Drops - up to seven
• Progressive Prize Buckets
• Enhanced Prize Bucket - multiplies a bucket by 10
• Barriers

The Plinko Game follows. It runs through nine stages of ten drops each. Balls fall into 15 prize buckets worth 0.1x, 0.5x, 1x, 5x, 10x, 100x or 1,000x the bet. Hitting bumpers unlocks the next stage, and each new stage doubles the balls per drop, up to 256 at once.

Why the board can escalate

The doubling is what gives the game its reach. One ball at the start becomes hundreds by the later stages, and Enhancers collected earlier change what the buckets are worth. Every round is still capped at 30,000x the bet.

Pond of Plinko RTP: three builds under one name

Most slot pages quote one RTP. Pond of Plinko needs a table, because both the build and your choices change the figure.

Where you land inside a range depends on your re-roll choices: paid re-rolls move it up, free ones move it down. The difference within a build is small. The difference between builds is not: about two percentage points between the default and the 94 version, which adds up over many spins.
