Sweet Rush Bonanza is a Pragmatic Play slot from September 2025 that joins two of the studio's candy series. The 6x5 grid that pays for eight or more matching symbols anywhere comes from the Sweet Bonanza line; the spots that light up after a win and double their multiplier each time come from Sugar Rush.
The game is rated Medium volatility, caps wins at 5,000x and runs at 96.50% in every mode, including its ante bet, two Super Spin options and both buys. This page explains how the spots grow, what each mode costs in Canadian dollars, what the free demo shows and what we could and could not confirm about which casinos carry it.

Two candy series on one grid
Pragmatic Play announced the game on 29 September 2025 as a fusion of fan-favourite franchises, and the name says which ones. From Sweet Bonanza it takes the layout: six reels, five rows, no paylines, and a win whenever eight or more of one symbol land anywhere. From Sugar Rush it takes the multiplier spots that stay marked on the grid.
The symbol set mixes both worlds. Candies and gummy bears sit at the top of the paytable, fruit at the bottom, and a lollipop serves as the scatter. All pays are multiples of the total bet:
| Symbol | 8-9 | 10-11 | 12+ |
|---|---|---|---|
| Red heart candy | 5x | 10x | 50x |
| Purple square candy | 1.25x | 2.5x | 15x |
| Green pentagon candy | 1x | 2x | 10x |
| Red, blue, orange gummy bears | 0.5x to 0.75x | 1x to 1.5x | 5x to 7.5x |
| Apple, grapes, banana | 0.25x to 0.4x | 0.5x to 0.9x | 2x to 4x |
The lollipop pays 2x for four, 5x for five and 100x for six or more, wherever they land. Every win triggers a tumble: the winning symbols vanish, new ones fall in, and the sequence continues while new wins form. That tumble is what feeds the spot multipliers described below, because each exploding symbol marks the position it left.
Bets in the demo run from C$0.20 to a base maximum of C$240. Real-money limits are set by each casino.
Casinos
Where to play Sweet Rush Bonanza
How we know: a casino is listed when its published provider list includes Pragmatic Play; "seen" means the title was in its own top-games row on that date.
Sweet Rush Bonanza online casinos: what we could confirm
This is the honest part of the page. Sweet Rush Bonanza is a Pragmatic Play title, and 84 of the casinos we cover publish a provider list that includes the studio. The list above shows some of them. We did not, however, find Sweet Rush Bonanza named on the pages we checked for any casino we cover, so none is marked as seen.
That does not mean the game is missing from those lobbies. Home and promotion pages name only a selection of titles, so a game can sit in a lobby without being mentioned there. It does mean we cannot vouch for a specific site, so the check is yours to make:
- Open the casino's lobby and search for the full name, Sweet Rush Bonanza. Similar names such as Sweet Bonanza or Sugar Rush are different games.
- Open the game's info screen and read the RTP it shows.
- Look for the buy and Super Spin buttons; some builds hide them, as explained below.
Where you play also decides who protects you. Among the casinos whose provider list names Pragmatic Play are OLG, Ontario's provincial site, and brands with Ontario or Alberta registrations such as BetMGM and FanDuel. A provider list on one of a brand's sites does not always apply to its others, because a brand's Ontario, Alberta and offshore sites can be run by different companies.
When we find the title on a casino's own page, it will be added to the list with the date.
Features
How Sweet Rush Bonanza plays
Base game and bonus features as the provider's rules describe them.
- Tumble winning symbols vanish and new ones fall in
- Multiplier spots a spot is marked when a winning symbol explodes there; the next win on it starts 2x and doubles up to 128x; spot multipliers add together

- Ante bet 3x stake; only 3 scatters needed to trigger free spins

| Grapes | 12+ 3x, 10-11 0.75x, 8-9 0.3x |
| Banana | 12+ 2x, 10-11 0.5x, 8-9 0.25x |
| Lollipop (scatter) | 6+ 100x, 5 5x, 4 2x |
Marked spots and the doubling ladder
The multiplier system is what separates this game from the older Sweet Bonanza titles, which use bombs instead. It works position by position.
When a winning symbol explodes, the cell it stood on is marked. If another winning symbol later explodes on that same marked cell, the cell gains a multiplier of 2x. Each further win on it doubles the value, up to a limit of 128x:
| Wins on the same spot | Spot value |
|---|---|
| First | Marked, no multiplier |
| Second | 2x |
| Third | 4x |
| Fourth | 8x |
| Fifth | 16x |
| Sixth | 32x |
| Seventh | 64x |
| Eighth and after | 128x |
When a win covers several spots with multipliers, their values are added together, not multiplied. Two spots at 8x and 16x under one win give 24x on that win.
Free spins keep the spots
Four or more scatters award 10 free spins, and every marked spot and its multiplier stays in place for the whole round. Landing four or more scatters again during the round adds 10 more spins.
That persistence is the core of the game's win potential. A round that builds several high spots early keeps them for every later spin, while a round that marks few spots stays modest. The 5,000x cap keeps the top end lower than on the newer Sweet Bonanza remakes.
Ante, Super Spins and two buys
Pragmatic's page describes three ante options; in the game they are called Ante Bet, Super Spin 1 and Super Spin 2. Add the two buys and there are five ways to pay more than a normal spin. Costs below are multiples of the base bet, with the price at the C$0.20 minimum:
| Mode | Price | At C$0.20 | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ante Bet | 3x | C$0.60 | Free spins trigger on 3 scatters instead of 4 |
| Super Spin 1 | 20x | C$4 | Random starting multipliers on spots, at least 2x; no free spins |
| Super Spin 2 | 250x | C$50 | Every spot starts at 32x; no free spins |
| Buy free spins | 100x | C$20 | The normal 10 free spins |
| Buy super free spins | 500x | C$100 | Free spins with every spot starting at 2x |
The Super Spins work differently. They are not a route into the bonus; free spins cannot trigger in either one. You pay for a single spin on a grid that already carries multipliers, and Super Spin 2 costs 250 normal spins for that one spin.
The demo shows an in-game maximum of C$5,000 per spin, which is less than 250 times the C$240 base maximum, so at high stakes it limits what Super Spin 2 can cost. Casinos may set their own limits.
Will you see these buttons?
The international demo build shows the buy features. When the demo was opened from Europe, the server switched to its UK build, which hides the buy. Our checks were not made from Canada, so whether a Canadian casino's version shows every mode is not confirmed.
Maths
RTP and volatility in dollars
Over a very long run, Sweet Rush Bonanza is set to pay back about C$96.50 of every C$100 wagered; the house keeps about C$3.50. At C$1 a spin, 500 spins means C$500 wagered and an expected cost of about C$17.50 - real sessions land far above or below that.
The same game also exists at 96.50%. A lower version costs more per C$100 wagered, and the casino - not you - picks which one runs.
Medium volatility: a mix of small wins and occasional bigger features. The cap is 5,000x: C$5,000 on a C$1 spin.
Sweet Rush Bonanza RTP and max win
The Sweet Rush Bonanza RTP is 96.50%, and the in-game rules give that same figure for the ante bet, both Super Spins and both buy options. Several Pragmatic titles list a slightly different return for each mode; this one does not, so the choice of mode changes how money moves, not how much of it comes back over time.
Pragmatic publishes no other RTP versions for this game, but the info screen on the site you use is still the place to check the figure it runs. Our guide to RTP versions explains how that works.
The 5,000x cap in dollars
The Sweet Rush Bonanza max win is 5,000x the stake. On the demo's bet range that is:
- C$1,000 at the C$0.20 minimum
- C$1,200,000 at the C$240 base maximum
Next to the 25,000x of Sweet Bonanza 1000 or Sweet Bonanza 2500, 5,000x is a middle-sized ceiling. It fits the Medium volatility label in the game's own rules: the payouts are less concentrated in rare monster rounds than on the high-cap remakes, and more of the return comes from ordinary tumbles and free spins.
Medium still means losing runs. A volatility label describes the shape of the results over many spins, not the outcome of a session, and the house edge applies in every mode. More about the labels in our volatility guide.

Sweet Bonanza, Sugar Rush and this hybrid
Pragmatic Play lists Sweet Bonanza, Sweet Bonanza 1000, Sweet Bonanza 2500 and Sugar Rush 1000 as related titles, and choosing between them comes down to which multiplier system you prefer.
- Bombs are the Sweet Bonanza approach. In Sweet Bonanza they appear only in free spins, worth 2x to 100x, and are added together at the end of a tumble sequence. Sweet Bonanza 1000 raises them to 1,000x and Sweet Bonanza 2500 to 2,500x.
- Spots are the Sugar Rush approach, doubling up to 128x in the original and up to 1,024x in the newer versions, used in Sugar Rush, Sugar Rush 1000 and Sugar Rush Super Scatter: the grid remembers where wins happened.
Sweet Rush Bonanza is the one that puts spots on the Sweet Bonanza grid and paytable style. If you enjoy watching a free spins round build up over time, spots reward that more visibly than bombs do, because the value sits on the grid in front of you. If you prefer a single big moment, the bomb games concentrate it more.
All of these are Pragmatic Play titles, listed together on our Pragmatic Play page.
Sweet Rush Bonanza free play and demo mode
Sweet Rush Bonanza free play is available on this page. The demo is Pragmatic Play's own build in Canadian dollars, so the Sweet Rush Bonanza demo Pragmatic Play publishes carries the full rules screen and paytable. No account is needed and nothing is downloaded.
Demo mode is the right place to try the expensive options. Super Spin 2 at 250x the bet is easy to misjudge, and a few demo spins show what a grid starting at 32x per spot actually produces. It also shows how long free spins take to arrive at normal odds compared with the 3x ante. Wins in demo mode are play money and cannot be withdrawn.
