What the 1000 version changes

If you know the original, the quickest way to understand this one is side by side. Both are Reel Kingdom games; the figures come from Pragmatic's pages and the demos' own rules.

Two things in that table are easy to miss. First, the fish values: the original lists its top fish at 5,000x the total bet, while the 1000 version's fish run 2x, 5x, 10x, 15x, 20x, 25x, 50x, 100x or 1,000x the base bet. Second, the base RTP is about 0.2 points lower than the original's.

The paytable for the regular symbols is the same as the original's, from the off-road truck (200x for five) down to Q, J and 10 (5x for five). One small addition: two fisherman wilds on a line pay 0.5x the bet.

Big Bass Splash 1000 online casinos in Canada

Any casino with a Pragmatic Play deal can offer the game, which by published provider lists covers 84 casinos in our listings. We have three dated sightings of this title specifically:

• Betnova Casino's Ontario site, registered with the AGCO, showed it on its online casino page on 23 October 2026.
• Lemon Casino showed it on its Canadian homepage in a capture of 14 October 2026.
• Spin Galaxy Casino used it in its welcome offer, in terms archived on 7 February 2026: 50 bonus spins on Big Bass Splash 1000 with a minimum deposit of $10, as the first of three offers, with spin winnings paid to the cash balance with no wagering requirement. That page is several months old, so check the current terms.

Many other brands that work with Pragmatic also run regulated sites, including BetMGM Casino, FanDuel Casino and Casino Days. A brand's Ontario or Alberta lobby can differ from its other sites, though, so confirm the game is there before you sign up.

Where you live decides which sites are legal. Ontario allows sites that the AGCO has registered and iGaming Ontario has contracted. In Alberta: AGLC-registered sites with an AiGC agreement (since 13 July 2026). In the other provinces: the provincially run site. Offshore sites hold no provincial licence. Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec set the minimum age at 18; every other province sets it at 19.

Ante Bet or bonus buy: three ways to play

Big Bass Splash 1000 gives you more say over how you reach free spins than the original did. There are three paths, each with a published RTP.

The RTP differences are tiny, 0.02 points from top to bottom, so the real choice is about pace and cost, not return. The Ante Bet doubles every spin's cost for better odds of triggering the bonus naturally. The buys skip the base game entirely. The Super buy is the most expensive route to the bonus and carries the lowest RTP of the four, though only by a hair.

Some practical points:

• You cannot combine Ante Bet with a buy: switching Ante on disables both buy options.
• Bonus buys are not shown in every version. In the demo, the UK version hides them, while the international version shows them. We have not confirmed which version Canadian casinos serve.
• If you play with bonus money, check the casino's bonus terms for any rule on feature buys first.

Stakes, buys and the ceiling in Canadian dollars

The demo runs in Canadian dollars with a minimum of C$0.10 and a maximum base stake of C$250 (C$500 with the 2x Ante Bet). Here is what the published multiples come to at each end:

Casinos set their own stake limits, so the range at your casino may be narrower. Check the bet panel before you plan a session.

The Super buy deserves a second look. At 450x it costs four and a half times the normal buy, and its RTP is a fraction lower. A bought bonus can return far less than it cost, and on a high-volatility game a run of several bought bonuses that each pay back only part of their price can happen to anyone. If you use buys, set a fixed number before you start and stop when you reach it.

Which Big Bass to pick

The series now has around twenty titles, and choosing between them mostly comes down to how much swing you want.

• Big Bass Bonanza - the original, rated low volatility with a 2,100x ceiling and a 96.71% RTP. The calmest option.
• Big Bass Splash - medium volatility, 5,000x, 96.71% in both the base game and the buy. The middle ground.
• Bigger Bass Splash - medium volatility on 12 lines, 5,000x, 96.50%.
• Big Bass Splash 1000 - high volatility, 25,000x, an Ante Bet and two buys. The most extreme of these four.

If you want the Big Bass theme in a different format, Big Bass Crash moves the theme to a cash-out-before-the-crash format, published at 95.50% RTP.

Outside the series, the closest matches are other Pragmatic "1000" games, which raise the ceiling of a familiar title in the same way. Starlight Princess 1000 and Gates of Olympus 1000 both carry a high volatility label and a 15,000x max win; Sweet Bonanza 1000 is rated medium with a 25,000x ceiling. Free spins and the Super version

Free spins start from three, four or five scatters, worth 10, 15 or 20 spins. Before they begin, up to five modifiers can be added: extra fish, extra fishermen, more of the random features, a start at level 2, or two more spins.

Once the reels turn, the familiar rule applies. A fisherman wild collects the value of every fish on the screen. Every fourth wild collected adds 10 spins and moves the collect multiplier up, to 2x, then 3x, then 10x. Dynamite, the hook and the bazooka can step in at random to add fish, pull fishermen onto the reels or change the symbols.

The difference in this version is what the fish can carry. With values up to 1,000x the base bet, one fish collected at the 10x level is worth 10,000x on its own. That is the route towards the 25,000x ceiling. The smaller values on the list, from 2x to 50x, are the ones that make up an ordinary bonus.

Super Free Spins, bought for 450x, play the same way but with a higher chance of 1,000x fish. Pragmatic does not publish how much higher, so it is impossible to say from the published data whether the extra cost is good value. The RTP of 96.51% tells you the long-run return is almost identical to the 100x buy, so the higher price does not buy a better return.

Base-game help is unchanged: when two scatters land, a respin or a hook can bring in the third.

Big Bass Splash 1000 demo play

Pragmatic's free demo runs in Canadian dollars and loaded correctly when we checked it on 22 October 2026, with the full paytable and game rules. Big Bass Splash 1000 demo play is the cheapest way to see how a high-volatility version feels before you put money in. High volatility usually means long stretches without the bonus, and the demo lets you feel that for free.

The demo is also where to try the Ante Bet and, in the international version, the two buys, so you can see how quickly a 450x Super buy drains a balance compared with a 100x one. Play-money results tell you nothing about what will happen next with real money, but they do show the rhythm of the game.

A few things the demo cannot tell you: the stake limits at your casino, the RTP build it runs, and whether the buys are switched on there. Those are set by the casino and the version it serves.
