Stake runs two separate operations that reach Canadians. Stake.com is an offshore casino under a Curacao licence held by Medium Rare N.V., and it lists Ontario as a prohibited jurisdiction. Alberta has its own regulated site, ab.stake.ca, run by Stake Canada Ltd. This page looks at Stake from a slot player's side: how big the games library is, which studios supply it, how the rakeback welcome deal works, and how fast Canadian dollars come back out.

How large is the Stake games library?
The only figure Stake puts in writing for Canada is the line in its iOS App Store listing: over 1,600 casino games. Stake's website could not be read in October 2026, so we cannot check whether the web lobby holds more. There is no published split between slots, table games and live dealer tables, and no list of progressive jackpots.
That leaves two common questions about Stake casino games open: is there a live section, and how many slots are there? The sources we could read answer neither with a count. What they do name is the Stake Originals range - the brand's in-house games, which the App Store text presents as its headline titles.

A studio appearing in Stake's description does not prove that every one of its titles is live in your region, and we could not browse the lobby game by game. Rakeback in place of a deposit match
Stake's help centre describes its welcome offer as access to rakeback: 3.5% of the house edge returned on every game. There is no deposit match. To unlock it, you enter a valid affiliate or referral code within 24 hours of opening the account; miss that window and the welcome rakeback is gone.
People often search for Stake casino free spins. As of October 2026, the welcome article lists no free-spins package. Getting Canadian dollars in and out
Stake.com accepts Canadian dollars. Interac e-Transfer runs through a payment company called Payper Inc.: deposits go through your online banking login and withdrawals arrive by e-Transfer. Stake says Interac transactions take up to three business days, not counting weekends and public holidays.
Visa and Mastercard work for CAD deposits, with a stated range of C$5 to C$3,000. Crypto is the other main route, with fifteen named coins including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, USDT and USDC. Minimums and network fees differ per coin, and Stake states there is no cap on the maximum crypto withdrawal. MoonPay, Swapped and Binance can be used to buy crypto for a deposit, but not to withdraw.
Before the first CAD deposit you verify your email. Before the first CAD withdrawal you verify your identity with a passport, national ID or driving licence, and you must have deposited with a method before withdrawing to it.

Which Stake site applies in your province
- Ontario: not accepted. The stake.com terms list Ontario as a prohibited jurisdiction, and ab.stake.ca serves Alberta only.
- Alberta: ab.stake.ca, operated by Stake Canada Ltd., is registered with the AGLC (registration expiring 24 September 2027) and listed by the Alberta iGaming Corporation. Alberta's legal age is 18.
- Quebec and the rest of Canada: stake.com, run by Medium Rare N.V. in Curacao under licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. The terms bar anyone under 18 or under the local legal age, whichever is higher. No province licenses this site.
The register does not state how Stake Canada Ltd. and Medium Rare N.V. are connected, so treat them as separate companies with separate terms. In the 11 October 2026 copy of the stake.com terms, Alberta was not on the prohibited list either, and whether stake.com has excluded Alberta since ab.stake.ca opened is not confirmed. Our verdict on Stake Casino's slots
Stake suits a slot player outside Ontario who wants a big lobby, Interac in Canadian dollars and a loyalty system built on rakeback rather than a match bonus. The weak spots are how little Stake publishes about its slot catalogue and that the offshore licence is from Curacao. Read the rule that every fiat deposit must be wagered in full before you can withdraw it.
Best for: Players outside Ontario who prefer rakeback and VIP rewards to a deposit match, and who pay with Interac or crypto.

No. The stake.com terms place Ontario on the prohibited jurisdictions list, and the regulated ab.stake.ca site only serves players located in Alberta. Ontario players need a site registered with the AGCO that operates under an agreement with iGaming Ontario.
